According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Rev. Annie, announced this on Tuesday while speaking to staff and students of the institution on their return from the Christmas and New Year break.
“No student should wear fins, rough jeans, dyed hair, long fingers, face coverings or false eyelashes,” NAN quoted the Vice Chancellor.
He noted his displeasure with most students and staff wearing T-shirts with illegal writing, a violation of the school’s dress code.
Asserting that indecent appearance will no longer be tolerated by the university, Anieke warned that male students should have their hair neatly combed or shaved to avoid falling foul of the school’s code of conduct.
He added that during the university’s 14th Matriculation scheduled for January 27, no female matriculants will be allowed to wear shoes higher than four centimeters or dress indecently. For their male counterparts, they must wear university suits for the march.
