Now that’s a couple of Love in Paradise: The Caribbean has joined the new cast of 90 Day Engagement: Another Waycurious fans.
Where does the other couple stand? Does anyone have a chance to join one of the main series in the franchise?
Not every relationship is a “couple”, of course. In fact, Love in Paradise made 90 days history recently. Part of that means including throuple. Sort of.
Where are Frankie Birdine, Gaby Nunez, and Abby Montoya?
Frankie meets Abby and Gaby while on vacation in Mexico. Abby and Gaby have been a couple for more than a decade, and both are bisexual.
Often, two people in a relationship suffer, because people think they are straight or gay.
But he hits it off with Frankie. The three of them ended up with the three of them spontaneously. After a seemingly one-time hookup, Frankie returns to Tennessee, but stays in touch with Abby.
“Abby and I have been doing a secret long-distance relationship,” Frankie told producers.
“I don’t want to hurt Gaby,” he insisted during the June 2022 episode.
“And,” Frankie added, “I’m sure Abby wouldn’t want to hurt Gaby either.” Of course not!
This is not just a fling. Abby and Frankie have fallen in love. neither is it of them wanted this to tear Abby away from Gaby.
Frankie’s grand romantic plan was simple: he would return to Mexico, propose to Abby, and begin the K-1 visa process with her.
The plan was to bring Gaby as soon as possible, although it might be more complicated. And can leave two separate women for year. Worse, Gaby had no idea about the plan.
Clearly, all of this was weighing heavily on Frankie’s mind. The guilt of having the potential to turn Gaby’s world into hers.
They ended up canceling their trip to Puerto Vallarta. In fact, he only annoys his future husband and his partner.
In a strange twist that one has to imagine the production pushed to happen, Frankie’s friend Rodney went on the trip anyway. He had to tell Abby.
Frankie’s decision to ghost her partner instead of visiting doesn’t stop Gaby from learning the truth.
Abby’s long relationship with Frankie isn’t just talk, it’s relationship.
Gaby very understandably felt like this, and these plans that Abby and Frankie made without her, they betrayed.
“How come you didn’t tell him when you knew he really wanted to marry you?” Gaby demanded.
“We were two,” he reminded his partner.
“We decided to include Frankie,” Gaby said, “and then he stabbed me in the back.”
Finally, Gaby had time to process all of this.
He decides that he doesn’t “blame” Frankie for what happened. After all, they were a group, even if only for a short time.
In the end, Gaby blames it on poor communication. That’s very generous of him, to be honest.
Frankie is no longer in the picture. Not with Gaby and not with Abby.
However, Abby and Gaby are still together and going strong.
Just this month – January 2023 – the two enjoyed a cruise as a couple. Good for them!
