Former Director of Communications in the Presidency in Prof. John Evans Atta Mills has visited the grave of the late Ghanaian leader with a wreath to wish him a happy new year.
Mr. Koku Anyidoho, in a video, was heard saying that he would not wait for his birthday before visiting the burial site to take eye-witness evidence of the situation there.
He described the late President as “a good person worthy of worship in all its manifestations”.
President Mills was the third leader of Ghana’s current Fourth Republic democracy but died five months to the end of his first term.
He also served as Vice President under Jerry John Rawlings between 1997 and 2001.
Professor Mills is a lawyer, tax expert and development economist.
