Meri Brown and Kody Brown decided to end all speculation.
After several seasons of Sister Wives focusing on broken relationships — along with a recent one-on-one special in which Kody said he doesn’t consider himself remarrying Meri — the soulmate has released a joint statement.
It confirms that the relationship is over.
“As a new unsanctioned press release, we feel the need to share our own truth, in our own way, and in our own time,” the message began.
“After more than ten years of working on our relationship in a unique way, we have decided to end our marital relationship permanently.“
As previously mentioned, Sister Wives fans are not sure what is going on between Kody and Meri after Kody stated that he does not consider himself to be Meri’s husband.
“Like, he just made a decision,” he said on air. “I’ve never heard him say that to me before.”
In response to this development on the screen, Magazine Wong reported that Meri has confirmed marriage split, his claim took MAJOR exception to Friday morning.
“Last month’s article by Famous People Magazine that quoted me as saying that I had ‘confirmed’ that Kody and I had split is a lie,” she wrote alongside her and Kody’s new statement.
“The information, content, and timing are inaccurate and based on an edited version of the event that was recorded months earlier.”
However, now she and Kody have confirmed their decision.
Kody and Meri hadn’t slept together in 10 years before this announcement.
Their romance has been non-existent since Kody divorced Meri so he could legally marry Robyn Brown.
“During this process, we are committed to kindness and respect for each other and all family members,” the exes said.
“We are also committed to continuing to heal all relationships with families so that we can move forward with forgiveness, grace, and love.”
In November 2021, Christine Brown announced that she had left Kody.
A few weeks ago, Janelle said that she and Kody had split.
This means that he no longer has a sister wife and is now only in a relationship with Robyn.
Fans continue to wonder whether they will take on a new partner or not.
As for Meri, meanwhile?
“Today I reclaimed my strength,” she wrote as a caption to confirm the divorce.
“There is much more to tell about this story, and I assure you, my truth will be told.
“But now, knowing that there’s peace in my heart, and that I don’t have any hatred towards Kody.
“I am not, and pray I shall not be, in a place where I am pleased to make, or to see you make such rude and disparaging remarks about him.”
