Actress and fashion designer Dineo Langa and award-winning hip hop artist Zothile ‘Solo’ Langa celebrated their 11th birthday over the weekend.
The couple, who usually do not know about their relationship, have been together for more than ten years and got married in September 2019.
11 years and counting
Dineo has appeared in telenovelas and movies including being a TV presenter for entertainment and award shows.
She shared that she and Solo have marked a special year in their relationship, sending a sweet note on Saturday evening.
Dineo wrote: “11 years and 52 minutes (because I’m late) since you said, “You should be my girlfriend soon” [and] I agreed that day had to be the day and I never looked back. Doing life with you has become beautiful. We move with love and intention every day. Everything we committed to is still with us. I love you so much honey
“Happy Birthday my son.”
Dineo appeared on The Queen as Kea for several seasons. Their wedding was attended by their friends Connie Ferguson and Rami Chuene, and musicians Moozlie, Reason and couple LootLove, who shared pictures and videos of the ceremony.
Solo also writes his own messages. He said: “I love you Ndlovukazi. I really can’t believe all this time has passed. It feels like yesterday we met in Andiccio around midnight to kick it. I have decided that tonight I am going to ask you to be my girlfriend”
“Let us continue to let time pass without us realizing it.”
Career in Fashion
Dineo’s career over the past few years has been focused on his successful fashion brand Port Of LNG.

These tailored dresses have been worn by celebrities such as Khanyi Mbau, Mihlali Ndamase and Pearl Modiadie.
Dineo exited the SABC 3 drama series Thiste in July 2022 after appearing in three seasons. He is leaving the show, “to pursue other on-screen interests,” the SABC said in a statement.
