Well, the start of a new year should be a time to set goals and look forward to optimism.
But when Briana DeJesus tried to kick off 2023 with an inspirational message to her followers, the post wasn’t received as well as she’d hoped!
In fact, the content of her congratulations fell flat, and Bri was still fried for days – but we’re sure she’s used to the criticism.
Bri, as you know, he wants to be an entrepreneur and investor.
So while some reality stars might downplay their wealth to stay relatable, Briana likes to brag about her baller lifestyle to tell her followers how successful she is as an entrepreneur.
The most recent example of this behavior is an Instagram post that appeared on Bri’s page last week.
DeJesus posted a photo of her children standing in what will be their new home.
“We’re done….again!!!! Merry Christmas to us!” Briana shared on Instagram.
“I kept this secret from the girls so I could surprise them today. So blessed to have two fully paid homes as a single mother of 2 children,” she said.
“I am always grateful for the opportunities that God has given in our lives. We moved into a new house in the spring and we are very excited.
DeJesus later explained that he temporarily canceled his plans to move to Texas, but he still plans to buy it third home in the Lone Star State.
“I saw a house in Texas and the perfect Nova!” Brian wrote.
“So now we’re staying in Florida! But I still want another home in TX. That’s the goal. Maybe later.”
Briana’s previous home is now occupied by her mother Roxanne, so we can understand why she feels the need to expand.
Still, the bragging post was not well received by commenters, many of whom pointed out that Bri was not a typical single mother.
“All of this just started getting pregnant at 16,” one person wrote, according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup.
“It must be good to pay,” added another.
“I work and I still can’t afford something like this. Maybe I should put myself in the public eye and cry about myself [baby daddy] not paying child support.”
“You’re no ordinary single mom,” a third commenter chimed in.
“You get hundreds of thousands of dollars to air your dirty laundry in public.”
Well, although the fact that Bri has maintained a “real” job and launched several business ventures over the years is in the spotlight, it cannot be denied that her good financial position is mainly the result of her MTV show.
And as many know, he owes a great deal to family members who have tolerated the presence of cameras in his life for years.
“She may have gotten a new house but she’s lost her privacy,” one commenter wrote on photos of Bri’s children.
