Annoh-Dompreh Sponsors WASSCE Students to University

Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri and Majority Chief Whip in Parliament, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has volunteered to sponsor bright but needy WASSCE students in Nsawam to University.

This, after the news that the parents of the students could not pay the entrance fees on social media, on Wednesday.

18-year-old student, Gabriel Kwaku Pobi is a product of the government’s Free SHS policy.

He completed SHS St. Peters in Nkwatia in the Eastern Region in 2022, got “7A” and “B” as a General Science Student.

He is the Most Overall WASSCE candidate this year in Nsawam Municipality.

Already, the top university in Ghana; The University of Ghana and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) had offered him admission to pursue Pharmacy and Electrical Engineering, but faced financial constraints.

With Annoh-Dompreh’s timely intervention, Gabriel will start school from the next academic year.
