Scheana Shay Welcome ex-boyfriend Robert Parks-Valletta to his podcast last Friday. And during the episode, the actor-turned-producer is seen back in the relationship and the messy separation from Vanderpump Rules star.
Before revealing what he has been up to since filming season six of the Bravo reality series alongside Scheana, who he first dated about 15 years ago, before marrying his wife. Mike ShayRob admitted to being emotionally immature the second time around and admitted it was “weird” seeing Scheana with his wife now. Brock Davies for the first time at a rap concert in San Diego.
“I just didn’t do my job. You are dealing with an emotionally immature, immature communication, [and] immature as a person,” Rob said on the Dec. 23 episode Scheanigans, via Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “I can’t look back and change anything, I can only go forward and say, ‘Okay, hey, it’s like expecting better.'”
After rekindling the relationship in the middle of the feeling of “unfinished business” in 2017, after Scheana divorced Mike, and dreamed of welcoming a daughter together, who will have the same name. Madison Marie Parks-VallettaScheana and Rob, who have reduced their TV-hanging time to just six minutes in the new year, split later that same year.
After their separation, as Rob worked on himself and went to therapy, Scheana auditioned for a show in Las Vegas and temporarily moved out of Los Angeles.
“I’m so grateful for our time together, but it’s also sudden and painful[ly] it ended, because, at the time, I was broken. You know this. It forced me to move to another country,” Scheana said. “That job, to this day, is still one of the best things in my life. I don’t know if I want to go back on stage and perform… [It] it was a dream I could never have imagined and it would never have happened if you hadn’t broken up with me the way you did.
Despite their ugly split, Scheana and Rob manage to mend their relationship and form a friendship.
“I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t think you were an amazing human being,” she says during the episode.
And even though he thought it was “weird” to see Scheana with Brock at first, he also knew the attraction between them.
“[I] get it right away,” he explained. “I know your two energies are two giant flames that will advance.”
For what he’s been up to since fans last saw him Pump RulesRob revealed that he is the producer and host of six travel shows for The Destination Channel and wrote the 2021 guidebook Create “IT” in 2021. He is also the CEO of Making It Media and is “likely to move” to Texas to open an office for the media company in January.
“I have a clear vision of what I want to do, and I will work towards it,” he said.
Vanderpump Rules season 10 is expected to premiere on Bravo in early 2023.
