Mzbel Apologizes To Afrochella Fans After ‘Terrible’ Performance
Singer, Mzbel has apologized to fans of Afrochella’s music concert for what many described as a “poor” performance from her.
Mzbel is one of the prominent African music acts that performed at the Afrochella music festival in Accra at the EL-Wak Sports Stadium.
This is her first appearance at Afrochella after she has not been on the music scene for a long time. Unfortunately, many music fans were not happy with his performance because he lacked energy on stage.
In a Facebook post, he expressed his sadness to his fans for his poor performance. He claimed that because he couldn’t hear himself or the music in the background, he had to keep shouting to entertain himself and his followers.
He wrote, “To all the Mzbelievers who were disappointed in my performance at the recently concluded Afrochella 2022, I am sorry and disappointed that this was not the way we prepared to entertain you.”
“What happened was that I couldn’t hear and couldn’t hear my music on stage, so I kept shouting and trying my best to have fun, but it was all rubbish. Besides, the lights on the stage were too strong for my eyes which is fragile, so I can’t see the crowd to interact properly.
Without training and dancers, I made you proud at the Ghana Music Awards UK 2021 but unfortunately, the media houses and bloggers who destroyed me today did not show as much as they showed this particular performance, but I promise to make you soon. There are bigger gigs in the pipeline and if the arrangements work out well, I will make you proud again.
