If Kody Brown can’t have Christine Brown, he doesn’t mind anyone else either.
Here are the main takeaways from part two of the Sister Wives Season 17 special, which airs this Sunday on TLC.
According to Kody in this clip – which has been published online by People Magazine – any potential suitor should listen to the warning when it comes to his former spiritual partner.
“I’m okay with her being like, listen, ‘I don’t fit in here. I have to move on,'” Kody told host Sukanya Krishnan in footage of Christine’s decision last year to move back to Utah and leave Kody.
“But what she did was, ‘Break my baby’s heart. I don’t respect her.’ ‘Coward. I don’t respect him.’ ‘Pick a favorite. I don’t respect him.’
“You name it, he’s been — talking to me.”
Of course, Christine has been talking to Kody because she doesn’t know, you know?
“Breakup when you are not in love, I know. But to take away the guilt, he’s blamed everything on me, including his kids and Janelle’s kids,” Kody continued in this clip.
“And as a result, combined with the COVID issue, those relationships have been pulled away from me, including — and this is what I didn’t know — Janelle.”
Indeed, Janelle confirmed in part one of the aforementioned special that she is also separated from Kody.
Kody thinks Christine has ruined him, referring to him as a “bad guy”, for example, to feel better about his decision.
“I understand. She has to do it so she can find someone else to trust,” Kody said. “Because if she leaves a good person, most guys will go, ‘That’s risky.'”
Not so, says Christine.
She’s dating and the guy she’s meeting is nothing like Kody – and it’s awesome!
Elsewhere in the same clip, Christine reveals how Kody felt “bad” that he spoke badly of his brother Meri Brown’s wives, Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown.
Instead, he saw what he was doing and said it was just “venting”.
“I just told him that I was mean to his sister’s husband. I think that is absurd,” he explained, adding:
“I said, ‘I don’t know what you mean.’ We dropped it and didn’t dig it again.
Christine, of course, left the spiritual union in November 2021; and now it seems like Janelle and Meri have done the same.
