They’re talking about Iowa again
Next year’s White Race will be the sixth contest since PB was founded in March 2004 and, in fact, the narrative behind it is what led me to start the site. Then Howard Dean appeared as a sure-fire favorite for the Dem nomination which I thought was rubbish and I have made a name for myself on the Betfair forum by setting this view.
Over the weekend we heard a reference to the state of Iowa in relation to the upcoming contest for the GOP nomination – something that sets the pulse rate of political junkies like me running. Because these days, the Iowa Caucuses are the start of the nomination race and the Trump campaign is holding a rally there like the first big event of the WH2024 campaign.
The picture above is a scene from a weekend that later had to be canceled due to “weather”. It is said that this is the reason because not enough people will come. The 45th president will not risk appearing in a half-empty field.
To me WH2024 looks the most boring with WH2020 nominees who will fight next year. Half the fun of the White House race has been the nomination contest and I hope that neither Trump nor Biden is the nominee.
