Melissa Gorga was relieved to put her strained relationship with Theresa Judge behind her – even her husband Joe Gorga it feels different.

When it appeared on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Livewhere is the host Andy Cohen the news is “very hard” on The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member, Melissa looked back at the frustrating conflict with her sister-in-law when she explained what changed between them and acknowledged the peace.

In the April 11 episode of WWHL: After the ShowMelissa tells Andy she received a text message from Margaret Josephs during the live broadcast his castmate was accused of being hard on him.

“Margaret Josephs just texted me and said you were so mean to me tonight. She was like, ‘Oof, Andy killed you tonight,'” Melissa said.

And Andy also received a text from Margaret.

“He sent me a message and said, ‘I want to explain the story about Laura to you,'” he said.

But Melissa wasn’t done with the problem and asked, “Why are you mean to me?”

“I’m not being mean to you, but we’re asking. Do you feel like I’m giving you a hard time tonight?” he wondered.

“I mean, no, I’m willing to answer the questions,” he replied, as if he had changed his mind.

Later, when Andy turned to Joe and asked if he was being “too hard” on Melissa, Joe denied anything, telling his wife, “Answer that question. Come on girl, let’s go!”

Even after Melissa commented, “It’s all negative,” Joe said he “answered this question.”

“They are all nothing,” he insisted.

Margaret’s text came in response to a topic Melissa asked on the live broadcast WWHLwhich included questions about what had changed between him and Teresa.

“When Teresa got out of prison, we spent a lot of time with her [Joe Giudice] entered, he spent a lot of time with Joe and I with whom he was dating or seeing, or whatever this was going on, children, drama, Joe and I really stepped up to the plate by talking to them when they were feeling. a certain way,” said Melissa. “Obviously everyone says it’s not right, it’s okay, but I think it broke when he was comfortable and happy and found his life, like, ‘Thank you very much, buh-bye.'”

While Melissa insisted that she and Joe were there for Teresa and their children during her and Joe’s time in prison, she claims their relationship quickly fell apart after Teresa met them. Luis Ruelas and no longer needed.

“I thought it would be [the] complete opposite. I thought like, ‘We got all this and they love me too.’ That’s what we thought,” he recalled.

But instead of staying close, Melissa and Teresa start fighting, but again, over how Melissa got the show.

“Isn’t anyone confused that we’re talking about 2010? I’m confused that we’re talking about the wedding, we’re talking about 2010, not about the last 10 years we’ve been together and dinners and Christmas and Easter and birthdays. What’s going on?” he wondered. “Why are we talking about tweets? We already know the tweets. My brothers and sisters, my brothers-in-law, it’s been good to eat and get together.”

According to Melissa, Teresa actually asked her and her family to host Luis after they started dating.

“When he needed someone to meet Luis because he had to introduce him to the family, guess who’s family? It was my mom and sister who made him dinner and he loved everything, got a haircut from my sister,” said Melissa. “I don’t know. We came back like ‘Well, when you get on the show …’ And I’m like, ‘We’ve graduated and we’re talking 50 times.’ “

While Andy later notes that Melissa seems at peace with moving on from the relationship, Melissa admits she and Joe “got to the point where it was like … we tried.”

“It’s a relief because all I want is to please and try to be accepted by my family and I will never understand why I don’t and I don’t know why my son is so happy or my brother is so happy. I wonder why other people are not happy when their house is clean and the children are good and love each other?” he explained. “I never understood and I was always like, ‘Did I do something wrong?’ Then I don’t worry about what’s wrong and I know that I have to live and be happy with my husband and I’m happy and my children are happy and that’s it.

But even though Melissa is over the situation, Joe insists she isn’t after Andy admits he’s confused about “how deep” he should go in the future. RHONJ reunion.

“Go deep. We’re not done yet. Who has finished?” asked Joe.

“You all seem complete in your resolution to move away from one another,” replied Andy.

But Joe insists, “We’re not complete.”

As Andy explained, he does not feel that he will get any kind of resolution out of the reunion because of where Gorgas left off with Teresa.

“And that’s fair because you’re not a therapist, right? Are you certified? I don’t know, right?” Melissa asked mischievously.

“No, no. But after 16 years of doing this, I think I have an idea of what I’m doing,” Andy said.

“But you know better than to work with us,” Melissa added.

Then, at the end, Joe says that when it comes to him and Teresa, “It’s not over.”

“The family, brother, did you leave the family? Come on, what’s wrong with you?” he asked.
