In a prison interview with The US Sun on April 5, Brittany, who lost custody in 2011, said that while she saw Jaiden “periodically until 2017,” John refused to allow her contact during those years.

“I have tried to communicate with my son, but John does not let me. Since I entered the prison, John has prevented me from speaking and seeing anything. This is not my choice,” she explained. “When I get out of here, I have to get a lawyer because he won’t let me see him.”

According to the report, Brittany will be eligible for release in September 2023, but could remain in custody until October 2024.

In recent years, Brittany has faced numerous charges, including burglary, money laundering, and possession with intent to distribute crystal meth. However, amid the legal battle, Brittany said she made a “very selfless decision” to give up parental rights “for Jaiden’s sake.”

After a four-year relationship, including a two-year engagement, John and Brittany split in 2009. Then, eight years later, after meeting in 2015, John and Rachel, who share a 2-year-old daughter Gianella and a 1-year-old. -old daughter Giuliana, tied with a tie.

“I feel good. I am very happy,” he said about his son’s role. “He’s amazing.”

As for John, Brittany said it was “so cute” to see him and noted that “he’s acting like he always does.”

Brittany then says that while she doesn’t know Rachel well enough to form an opinion, she’s “not surprised” Rachel wants to adopt her son.

“It doesn’t surprise me. I knew he would, so I expected it,” Brittany said. “I actually predicted this would happen when I first heard about him on the show. John would take the opportunity to make himself look better by making me look worse. But I am not surprised by the words and thoughts of others.

In the new episode of RHONJJohn is seen discussing the potential adoption of Rachel from Jaiden with his wife.

“It’s not easy, it takes time. You must go before the judge. The judge then signed the petition, but you know there is a process to contact the biological mother,” he explained. “He should probably go in.”

“I really don’t like dealing with it [Brittany],” he added.

And, when the couple met with an adoption counselor in the future episode, they learned that Brittany could get in the way of Jaiden’s adoption.

“If Jaiden’s mother objects, she will have the right to an appointed attorney,” the counselor said.
