Jen Shah Dropped by Legal Team For Owing $124K

Jen Shah Fired By Legal Team Amid Lawsuit Debts $124K In Unpaid Legal Fees, As RHOSLC Star Reportedly Played Real Housewives With Convicts

I miss my ex The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, Mr. Shah‘s, money problems continue to follow him even behind bars.

Jen’s former legal team and attorney, Priya Choudharyissued a motion to disqualify the firm as counsel two weeks ago and reported to Judge Sidney Stein, who led Jen’s telemarketing fraud scheme, claims the reality star owes $50,000 in unpaid legal fees and $74,422.95 in unpaid fees, per The Daily Mail. The grand total came to $124,422.95.

It is unclear how Jen will be able to repay her ex-adviser as her representative released a statement last month saying that Jen has begun compensation proceedings for the victims, especially the elderly, who were preyed upon.

“I spoke with my client Jen Shah over the phone this week — she’s doing great and remains committed to making her victims whole,” Jen’s rep told PEOPLE. “He has started making payments to recover, and we hope to have a house soon so that he can live again with his family and work, put this chapter in his life.”

One thing that Jen hasn’t closed the door on is her beloved Housewives status. Reportedly, Jen is hard at work creating a play with her fellow inmates, titled “Real Housewives of Bryan” based on life at Bryan Federal Prison Camp, TX.

Manager Jen, Chris Giovanni, recently told TMZ that the theater production is still in the “early stages” as Jen is mentoring and teaching some of her new cast how to read and write. She said the play and script will be similar to the Housewives franchise, but with the personalities “turned up to 11”.

Jen’s creative side seems to have been fueled by her work duties as Chris revealed that Jen has passed the time while serving a reduced 5.5 year sentence by working in the prison’s library and education department. Jen’s Muslim faith also serves her well because it’s Ramadan and according to Chris, she and five other women are fasting, adding that Jen lost about 15 lbs. began reporting to prison two months ago.

There’s no word if Jen has plans to make the reunion play out to coincide with her fake franchise, but knowing Jen, it’s not out of the question. Maybe he could get a prison guard to play Andy Cohen?

You know what they say, you can take the girl out of Housewives, but you can’t take it in…well, you get it.
