Vanderpump Rules Katie Maloney admit Tom Sandoval and Rachel Lewis‘s friendship “reeked” of cheating before the relationship was exposed.
She also slammed “soulless” Raquel, who reportedly dated Tom while still dating her longtime boyfriend. Ariana Madix.
From Katie’s “bird’s eye view,” the star saw several red flags amid the show.
In an interview for the “Viall Files” podcast, Katie claimed that she can see how “very close” Raquel and Tom are.
“I’m starting to realize … when Ariana’s gone, she’s going to hang out,” Katie said, via Page Six. “If Ariana chooses not to go to parties or events, Tom and Raquel will just be together.”

The star continued, “Something smells [cheating] to me.”
Katie said she would have drawn attention to Tom and Raquel’s matching necklaces — shaped like lightning bolts — if they were closer to their costars.
“I notice the things my friends wear, especially something all the time, [and ask], ‘Is that new? What does it matter?’” he explained.
However, at the time, Katie was in the “low seat”, watching from “outside” the friendship group, although she “could see everything that was going on.”
“Lightning strike [is] not, like, a heart or a butterfly,” added Katie. “It’s not that cute.”
Katie suggested that Ariana was so “close” to the situation that she couldn’t see what was going on. The star also slammed Raquel as “soulless” and “thick skulled,” with “shamelessness” and “poor judgment.”
