Tamika Scott shared a long video on his YouTube channel a few days ago showing what he said was proof that his sister, LaTocha Scottstole $30,000 in Xscape royalties from him.
In the midst of a family feud, which is currently playing out in the Bravo series – SWV & XSCAPE: Queen of R&BTamika described LaTocha’s alleged plan to her, claiming that he not only stole money from her, but also tried to extort her with the help of her husband. Rocky Bivens and cut him out of a deal for a gospel album together.
“I’m not going to do too much but I’m going to clear my name,” Tamika began in her YouTube video, shared by Baller sign on Instagram on March 29. “I’m going to show you some evidence that shows how he went in and changed my address to my address, how he changed my email, everything … was changed by my sister, LaTocha Scott.”
Although Tamika said she was not trying to “bury” her sister, she noted that she wants LaTocha and Rocky to stop spewing false claims and threats against her, especially in terms of sex tapes.
After confirming that she made the sex tape in her 20s, Tamika revealed that she gave the tape to LaTocha, only to find out that it was stolen from her safe.
“She said someone stole her safe. So I said, ‘Okay, who has the safe code?’ All she said was her and her husband,” said Tamika. “Now I’m going to be arrested … They’re going to drop the tape. This is what the text says… You want to extort me and put the tape out? And you’re making a gospel album? Let’s talk about it.”
According to Tamika, her former management made a deal for her and her sister to make a gospel album together in early 2022 – at the request of her mother and grandmother. However, when Tamika tells LaTocha that they should “split everything down the middle,” write together and create together, LaTocha “goes bananas.”
“He was angry,” Tamika recalled. “He was like, ‘Yes, this is what I do. I’m a musician. I’m a musician. You can make screenplays and you can write plays and movies, but I’m the singer in the family’… He was just angry, so when he left my house, he didn’t never mentioned again.
“How can you steal my money and steal our gospel agreement?” Tamika was surprised.
And not only that. When Tamika shared, someone changed all the actor’s credits on cable.
“So not only did you steal the money and the gospel album that you told your grandmother you were going to do, but now, if you all see, now I, my image, is gone and replaced with her image,” Tamika said. “It’s just a lot of cricket that has happened.”
And, allegedly, Kandi Burruss and his wife, Todd Tuckeralso mentioned in the threatening message.
“It’s about Todd… The things that were in the threatening text when my sister was doing the interview on her bus, kicking everyone out, talking about Kandi, talking about me lying, some of the things that were in the threatening text were in what he said. “Wow, he mentioned a tattoo that only he knows about. He mentioned the sex tape that mysteriously disappeared. He mentioned the pictures he never sent when he destroyed my phone saying he was my ex-husband,” Tamika said.
“They are bad, evil people but I will not allow you to keep sitting here giving false narrative about me,” he added. “When I’m wrong, I’m sorry. This time, I’m not wrong. Now the world knows that you’re a liar who made a gospel album, stole from the church, stole my sister, stole my identity, but what you won’t do is steal my pride.
Days later, in his own video, which was shown by The Shade Room on Instagram on March 31, LaTocha responded to Tamika’s claims against her.
“I know that the enemy is busy. When you pray and ask God to bless you and that your steps are taken carefully, there are peaks and valleys and now I’m in the valley, y’all,” he admitted. “There are certain things in my life which I want, but how can I correct this by removing it and blaming myself and punishing myself? I am trying to find a solution. I can’t even keep my resolve because every time I turn around, you guys are talking about me.”
After dealing with the recent backlash, LaTocha said she and her sister “will get together.”
“I followed. I don’t have an answer. I found out about the $30,000 charge while watching TV with you,” explained LaTocha. “Is it my brother’s money? I don’t.”
According to LaTocha, she, like Tamika, has a receipt. And, when it comes to what happened between those 10 or 11 years ago, he’s not sure what Tamika meant when she checked on the missing.
“I don’t know anything [the $30,000], I just said, ‘Can we get some clarity on this?’ Because at that time, we helped each other. I just need clarity. What do you see? Because I have the receipt,” he said.
LaTocha says she doesn’t want to fight with her sister over social media and invites Tamika to sit down with her to find out.
“We need to talk to each other because you can’t get through anything without it and I’ve been accused of being a thief and I don’t even know what you’re talking about,” she told him. “You made it online but Tamika, we both have receipts. We both have receipts.”
“We’re supposed to be a family and I want my family back. I don’t care about anything and I’ve said that,” she said. “And I’m sorry to you Tamika if I didn’t hear you, if I didn’t hear your voice, I’m sorry … Sometimes I make mistakes, I’m human. But with us, we have to solve this.
“I love my brother. Let’s talk. I love you,” LaTocha added.
Also in the video, LaTocha confirms she and Rocky are in an open relationship.
“Do we have a problem? Are we perfect? No we are not. Is he perfect? No, he is not. Am I perfect? I am not perfect,” he stated. “I am very aware of the allegations that are happening about him. I see everything… You think I don’t know. I know everything. Entire. I don’t forget things. My husband and I, what you don’t know, we have an open relationship.
