After Teresa confirmed in Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey if the snub wasn’t an accident, Margaret weighs in on her claim to have a “past” with Donna while Teresa explains her difficult history and Jackie Goldschneider suspect the decision was a “smack in the face”.
“I was like, ‘Don’t say that.’ I was like, ‘What can you do with Donna Marco? All she does is giggle, laugh, have fun,'” Margaret recalled on the March 21 episode of RHONJ: After Show. “Every time I saw him, he was staying with your father. I was like, ‘Why are you saying this?’”
Even new people Danielle Kabwho seems more Team Teresa than Team Melissa, admitting that Teresa is “terrible with delivery.”
“The way he asked Melissa at the wedding, horrible. You know in truth he wanted to say, ‘I want this sh-t to stop Melissa, just at my wedding.’ But when he said, ‘Do you want to go to the party?’ I don’t think so Tre, don’t talk like that,” Danielle suggested.
Then, as Rachel Fuda wondering what Melissa’s mom could do, since she’s “sweet as sugar,” Danielle says Teresa does things “based on her feelings.”
“He invited someone he had just met who made him happy. It was his truth at the moment. Donna Marco, he might have a certain feeling about her,” he said.
Meanwhile, Melissa says that what Donna did to Teresa was “birth [her].”
As for Teresa, she didn’t invite Donna to her wedding because she wasn’t close and noted that Donna and her father, deceased. Hyacinth Gorganot “close”.
“The reason I didn’t invite Donna Marco, I’m not close to her. I’m not close to Melissa so I’m not very close to the family,” he explained. “When I see her, do I respect her? yes already. When my father went to my brother’s house, they were in peace. That’s it.”
“And when Melissa came on the show,” Teresa said, “her family wrote about me on Twitter and Instagram and Facebook and they were destroying me, so I always kept my distance.”
That said, when Dolores Catania mentioning possible revenge, Teresa shut down the idea, saying, “[It’s] I’m not the one holding a grudge. I don’t want to associate with people like that. It’s forgotten because I’m around them and I’m social with them, but do I want them to come to my party and celebrate me? We’re not that close.”
Then, after Jennifer Fessler admitting that he did not blame “Melissa for being angry,” Jackie said that, in his opinion, the snub was meant to make a statement.
“Anybody can invite whoever they want to the party, but I think it should be a smack in the face, even if they want to swing,” he said. “And I don’t have a problem with Teresa right now. We’re fine. So it’s not meant to start a fight or anything, but there’s no way to swing it. It’s meant to smack you in the face. That’s it.”

“Another line drawn in the sand. They draw every line they can, and then you want to know why Joe is upset? It seems like now he’s just trying to take it all in because there’s so much to do,” he said.
