Survation finds 68% saying they didn’t believe Johnson – politicalbetting.com

A poll came out of Survation about reactions to Johnson’s appearance before the privileges committee and found that 68% said they did not believe Johnson’s claims that they believed he was following the rules.

The survey was commissioned by campaign group 38 Degrees and COVID Bereaved Families For Justice, which attacked the former PM for his actions.

When the sample was shown a picture of Johnson raising a toast in leaving only 6% said they believed it was an important work event.

Also bad for Johnson is that a fifth of those polled said his appearance made them feel his account was less credible.

My main observation is that this has been a very good week for Rishi Sunak.
