Bubbles over. Carl Radke head butted with Lindsay Hubbard in the midst of a drama involving a relationship – after problems with him Amanda Batula spilled over into the group.
High tension in season 7, episode 6, from Summer House as the cast tries to bounce back from Kyle Cooke yelling at Lindsay, 36, over the girl’s alleged tactics means one week before.
“I haven’t spoken to Kyle since last weekend. I know I should. I haven’t. I don’t want to say football, but probably football, because I’m just worried. Our friendship is in serious jeopardy,” Carl, 38, admitted during , March 20, episode, referring to Kyle, 40, exploding at his current fiancee, Lindsay, because she was abusing Kyle’s wife, Amanda, 31. “But I had to tell Kyle, ‘Don’t talk to my girlfriend like that.'”
The founder of Loverboy – who warned Carl in the March 6 episode “beware” of Lindsay “master manipulator” – felt awkwardness also in the show there. “This is the first time I’ve ever worried about what I’m going to say to my best friend,” Kyle says on camera. “I feel like a fish out of water.”
Amanda, for her part, decided to take the high road after admitting that Lindsay never accepted an apology earlier in the summer. (The New Jersey native previously said the Hubb House PR founder “ruined” Carl in the midst of their budding romance. She later shared receipts from a text exchange in which Amanda said “sorry” and Lindsay didn’t respond.)
“As sad as I was last weekend, I decided to come back because I wasn’t going to let anyone else let alone Lindsay dictate how I was going to spend the summer,” Amanda said.
Despite being at the center of the drama, Lindsay seemed unfazed on Monday’s episode by what happened. “I knew Carl was planning on talking to Kyle, so I had no intention of talking to me,” Lindsay said during her confessional. “I plan to have a f-king good time.”
However, the publicist’s decision to avoid Amanda and not clear the air did not sit well with Carl. In fact, the Pittsburgh native called him his girlfriend for not trying too hard with him after he and Kyle squashed their own beef. (Carl proposed to Lindsay in August 2022.)
“Don’t make this harder than it is. I think you need to talk,” Carl told the Florida native at the group’s Studio 54 party. “I’m facing a st that I have to see and I’m going to deal with it. That’s what I talked to Kyle about.”
Lindsay didn’t like what her friend said and asked, “Why are you angry?” [at] me?” Carl fired back, “I’m not upset with you,” which only caused Lindsay to get more defensive.
“Well, don’t come at me,” she fired back, to which Carl replied, “Trust me, I’m not coming at you. You’ll know when I come at you.”
