Y107.9FM’s very own mini-powerhouse has released three exclusive Apple Music DJ mixes this month.

It starts with a mix of International Women’s Day, which drops on March 8, 2023, and is stacked top to bottom with ballads and jams that empower women. The playlist has popular modern and classic bangers, to motivate and inspire women from all over the world.

After the debut of Mz Orstin’s Apple Music DJ Mix, 2021’s Asakaa Mix, the long-awaited follow-up to the mix was released on Friday, March 10, 2023. Asakaa Mix, Pt. 2 takes Ghana’s emerging young genre to another level, mixing Ghanaian drill with drill music from across Africa.

And last but certainly not least, also released on March 10 is the unique Ghanaian Independence GH Hip Hop mix, celebrating Ghana’s long love affair with hip hop. It features work from Ghana’s best and brightest rappers, from Sarkodie to Joey B, Medikal, Kwesi Arthur and more.
