Bola Tinubu President Support Group 4 2023 on Wednesday welcomed a 26-year-old man, Gaddafi Musa, who reportedly rode a bicycle from Katsina to Lagos to celebrate the victory of the president-elect, Bola Tinubu.
The Convener and Director General of the group, Fola Tinubu, led the members to receive Mr. Musa in Ikeja.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mr. Tinubu, former governor of Lagos State, on March 1, announced the winner of the February 25 presidential election.
At the reception, Mr. Musa, a native of Funtua in Katsina State and a 2022 graduate of the Federal College of Education, Zaria, Kaduna State, said he started his journey on February 26 and arrived in Lagos on March 10.
Mr. Musa said he loved Mr. Tinuhu very much, adding that his belief that he would win the election made him leave Kastina for Lagos before INEC started the national collection of the election results.
“What made me cycle from my country to Lagos is because I love Tinubu. During the election, I had nothing to offer him.
“If it’s money, I don’t have to give it to him but I want to meet him in person. I only see him on television and posters. I do this to see the people I love.
“I started on Sunday February 26 after voting on Saturday.

“I left before INEC declared the winner because I have 100 percent guarantee that Tinubu will win the election,” he said.
Mr. Musa said that he had stopped in some towns to sleep.
He listed the cities which include Zaria, Kaduna, Suleja, Minna, Bida, Mokwa, Jebba, Ogbomoso, Ibadan and Ogere.
Mr. Musa said he plans to do no more than 80km a day, adding that he rides from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day.

“I am satisfied that I took this trip. My body is fine except for the pain in my legs and buttocks. I did all this because of Tinubu.
“No one supported me when I wanted to start this journey. All I wanted Tinubu to know is that I love him. My dream is to meet him,” he added.
Mr. Musa said some people tried to discourage him using insecurity, but he has decided to face whatever the journey may bring.

“Some thought that the kidnappers would take me on the road while some doubted that I would be able to see Tinubu,” he said.
Commending Mr. Musa for his love for the president-elect, the convener said the steps taken by the students showed that young people love and care for Tinubu.
“He (Tinubu) has said since he became president-elect that he will be a youth president and he will create a Nigeria that will make the youths prosperous.
“Tinubu cares about young people. The focus is on creating an environment that allows youth to thrive. We must follow and trust their leadership.
“We thank Musa for his efforts but unfortunately, Tinubu is in Abuja now; so I said I will meet with him,” said the committee.
In Saturday’s Governorship and House of Assembly elections, the convention expressed optimism that the APC would win the elections.
