Janelle Brown Says Goodbye to Beloved Family Member

As previously reported, Janelle Brown has lost over 100 pounds over the past few months.

What an impressive feat, right?

However, earlier this week, a veteran Sister Wives cast member opened up about a very different loss.

Janelle’s beloved dog, Jack, has passed away.

“My sweet Jack passed away this morning. Thank you to the vets who worked so hard to save him a few days ago,” wrote the 53-year-old along with some photos of Jack via Instagram, Monday, March 13.

“Unfortunately his body was unable to cope with the sudden illness he fell into last weekend.”

There are tragedies more personal and painful than losing a pet.

Janelle then explains how the animal is actually her his mother dog … which was adopted after the death of his mother in December 2020.

Janelle Brown gives the camera a smile in this beautiful photo.

“He is no stranger to us. I was with mom when she adopted him and he spends several months every year with us when mom visits,” she said.

“We had a special bond before he came full circle…

“He will be greatly missed.

“My other puppy Byrn is a bit lost. And our hearts ache. But I’m glad he’s not suffering anymore.

In a previous post, Brown revealed that Jack was diagnosed with an auto-immune type disorder.

“Everything is fine,” he wrote at the time. “The vet said they don’t know what’s causing it, but it can be done with medication.”

Alas. It seems as if it only gets worse later.

Janelle Brown opens up here during her confessional on season 17 of Sister Wives.

Brown’s pets often appear on her pages and social media accounts.

In November, the reality TV star posted a picture of Jack, Bryn and their daughter, Savannah.

“The dog version of good TV,” she captioned the photo. “She can watch people cook for hours :). Especially if it’s a piece of meat. Isn’t Savanah so beautiful?

“And she’ll be 18 in about a week! This mom is getting old!”

Janelle went missing three months after she left her spiritual partner, Kody Brown.

She ended her marriage to her 18-year-old father in December 2022, and has no regrets.

“I didn’t wait for him. I’m sad that a part of our lives is gone,” Janelle said in January 2023.

“I’m not heartbroken.”
