Margaret Josephs desired Jennifer Aydin, Theresa Judgeand new people Danielle Kab in the middle of the new season The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Before filming season 13, Jennifer and Teresa meet up with their former BFF Margaret Laura Lee Jensenwho claimed Margaret originally spread the Melissa Gorga rumors lie.
In an interview with ET, Margaret spilled her thoughts on the incident.
“It really bothers me, because – and I’ll say this, I’ve said it a thousand times – I make it with people, I feel authentic, and I’m with people who are not like that,” said Margaret, alluding to her problems with Jennifer. “I am constantly surprised and surprised… [Jennifer] meeting friends friends friends, I know about it. I knew about it before the last reunion. He came to the dressing room to apologize for this. We talked about it there, why do I think, seven months later, this nonsense is still going on?
Margaret believes Teresa and Jennifer plan to discuss Laura’s accusations during the season 13 reunion.
“Jennifer tried to bring it up, it was out of context,” Margaret said. “Melissa said, ‘I have it all figured out.’ We all know. Jennifer came in the dressing room, I was disgusted. She was like, ‘You know, I’m sorry…’ and, ‘This girl doesn’t like me. I don’t know why I did it…’ You know all this crocodile bullshit.
“I’m ready to move on with Jennifer,” he continued. “I think as usual he has a really good heart, and we didn’t see anything, but obviously I was wrong. So, this year I was just like, ‘What’s going on here?’ I’m clearly misreading people.”
Margaret was surprised that Jennifer brought it back.
“That’s what I really want, you know?” said Margaret. “I’m not mad at him anymore about it. I’m like, okay, he apologized. That part was done, but then he brought it up and … dragged things out? That’s a weird thing for me. It’s really weird. I don’t operate like that’s it.”
The star then revealed his past friendship with Laura. “I’m going to give you CliffsNotes,” he declared. “I’ve known Laura since I was a little girl, since I was 12 – so I’ll call her ‘little Marge’ – they were very good friends growing up. We were separated for many years. We got back together before I went on the show [in 2017]. My wife and I are friends, I took her with open arms. I really love him. He saw everything I wanted. … I helped her with plastic surgeons, hair stylists, you know? All, promoted him and her and life, which can happen when you ask at Housewives. I am very blessed with an amazing environment. I got them both [casting] interview, two years in a row. I helped him a lot. I pushed for her. I really wanted her there. If she can’t come as a Housewife, then a friend. It didn’t happen.”
Margaret continued, “Then 2022, the beginning, I was caught out of Jennifer’s camp, someone who thought she was close – she wasn’t – called and said, ‘You know your creepy friend is friends with Jennifer and Teresa, come here. and try to talk about you , trying to join the show?’ … ‘He can not participate in the show through you. He tries to get in the show through them. Telling lies and drama about you, about Melissa, said Jackie [Goldschenider’s] jealous of…’ all this nonsense. I immediately called Melissa. I called Dolores [Catania]. I called Jackie. I immediately said, ‘We have some craziness going on, and Teresa and Jennifer are doing this…’ I have a date. I have everything. I texted Laura, I texted her husband … whoever I introduced her to, I texted her on the chain just to say, ‘She’s interfering with my career.'”
“Teresa no problem, call and ask for another interview,” he added. “Knowing the rumors spread, Teresa called him to ask for another interview, and PS, they couldn’t take him on the show! So clearly, if there was no motive to enter the show, why do you want to interview him again? So clearly this is a motivation for the show, and this.
Margaret denied Laura’s claim that she wanted to expose the “truth” about Margaret’s accusations that Margaret discussed cheating on Melissa.
“He bled for Marge,” he said. “Why can’t he come to Melissa if he says I’m talking about Melissa, and I’m a horrible person?” … “Why did you reach the two people who hate me and Melissa the most? I mean, I think it’s pretty obvious. You wanted to get on the show. You can reach Melissa. You set next to him many times in the hair salon.
“You have every opportunity to say something to Melissa, you don’t,” the star added, “and until you and I have fallen out – which, the big thing with me is that I disinvited her for Christmas, that’s all she thinks. she can say – are you going to the people who hate us the most? It’s about taking on the show. It’s about causing drama. You think you’re going to put yourself in that way, and that’s the truth.
“If you were really trying to expose the truth, you wouldn’t try and take it on the show,” said Margaret. “Why did you try to get a third interview and go to the two people who hate me the most? Why didn’t you call Jackie? Why didn’t you call Melissa, etc.? Why go to the press? Why do all this? I found it, I mean… I think it is very clear to everyone who knows.
Margaret claims she hasn’t heard from her former friend since the drama. “He’s a coward and won’t answer the phone, won’t answer,” Margaret said. “His wife answered me. His wife.”
Regarding Teresa and Jennifer, Margaret said, “Everything they showed me, they really did… This is what I was accused of last year, meeting me. [Teresa’s now-husband, Louie Ruelas’] exes, when everything is out there on the internet. There is no proof or anything.”
“A girl [Jennifer] can’t help herself and it just shows her character,” he continued, and then alluded to the last season when Margaret outed her husband Jennifer’s past relationship. “I just want to show one more; he was very concerned about his children last year. ‘You hurt my family, you did this…’ which is sad. Everybody’s collateral damage, I’m sorry, really, for everything, but this is based on reality, OK?
“It wasn’t made up,” said Margaret. “He didn’t have a problem coming this year, hearing from someone who tried to participate in the event and hurt Melissa’s family and her children? It’s not hypocritical? It’s not a problem? So, you’re going to do it again for people next year and it’s not based on reality?
Margaret claims the other cast members didn’t know about Melissa’s cheating rumors until the whole thing blew up.
“We didn’t know he was doing this,” Margaret said. “This is a secret takedown.”
She then responded to Jennifer’s accusation that Margaret encouraged Melissa to separate from her husband Joe Gorga.
“Oh yes, yes, yes! That’s my favorite part,” he said. “I invite people to divorce? No, I don’t. You know what it is? I build friendships. I always say, You’re amazing, you’re strong…’ you know, I say that, and the funny thing is, everyone always compares Melissa to [Jennifer Lopez], and I said, ‘If J.Lo can do it with A-Rod, you can do it with anyone!’ And what I’m saying is, you know who I’m going to tell? A 90-year-old man with one foot on a banana peel. Millionaire. Who doesn’t like to talk like that?”
“Laura obviously takes an ounce of truth, hear me say – of course, Laura went out with us many times? I brought Laura to the world of friends and access – and that said in jest, of course, and I don’t mean anything negative about that ; I will build anyone, to say some pleasant things,” said the star. “If I was around Jennifer when Bill cheated on me, I would have built her up too. And now, I’m going to build Bill up, because he doesn’t need to suffer.
Margaret denied having an “arsenal” of dirt on cast members, which she used when it suited her.
“I have an arsenal,” Margaret said sarcastically, downplaying the accusation. “I think it’s funny. They think I have an arsenal to destroy? There’s nothing to stop.”
“I don’t have to collect information about anybody, it’s not my way,” she said. “I said something when it happened, I never caught anything – Jennifer is still very upset about what everyone knows about Bill, which is unfortunate. We all knew before, people; everyone didn’t admit it, but it’s common knowledge. They can think what they want. Everyone already knows.”
He then hinted at the “very big twist at the end” with Teresa’s drama with Melissa and Joe. “If he sees it, he’ll know why Melissa and Joe didn’t go,” Margaret teased.
Margaret also imagines Danielle’s new friends with Jennifer and Teresa.
“[Danielle] come on, I am very open, friendly with him; it’s a young woman, I got a kick out of her,” she said. “I want to help him in business, I give him strong advice. I work on his logo for him. I really want to be good to him. He flipped on me like a pancake in two seconds, for no reason, hearsay. It’s unfortunate. I think he’s good to share; I think he’s funny. I think if he sees the whole play and realizes he’s being used as a patsy, I hope he sees it.
Regarding her friends, Margaret said, “These women think they are playing chess; well, guess what? You will never be one step ahead of me.
