Celine Dion & René Angélil
Celine Dion and René Angélil had one of the most memorable celebrity weddings in history!
The couple got hitched in a lavish ceremony at the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montréal in Canada on December 17, 1994, during which she wore a ball gown designed by Mirella and Steve Gentile featuring crystal and pearl embellishments and a massive 20-foot train.
The My Heart Will Go On singer accessorized the look with a tiara made of 2,000 Swarovski crystals that weighed over 6 pounds — and it landed her in the hospital following the nuptials! Crazy!
Their wedding was such a big deal that Celine and René actually broadcast the whole thing on TV so fans around the world could watch before they enjoyed a private reception! If only certain other celebrities did that for their big day! UGH!

Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were one of Hollywood’s biggest power couples, so they obviously were the talk of the town when they tied the knot at the Malibu clifftop estate they rented from TV executive Marcy Carsey on July 29, 2000!
On that day, the actors exchanged vows in front of nearly 200 of their loved ones, including some of her Friends co-stars, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, as well as David Spade and Cameron Diaz.
The nuptials reportedly had everything from a wall of caviar to a 13-minute fireworks show to four bands to a gospel choir to 50,000 and so much more! All of which cost them a whopping $1 million!
Sadly, they wasted the money to enter a marriage that didn’t last. Their union came to an end in 2005. Brad and his Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star (and now ex-wife) Angelina Jolie soon became the next It Couple.
Pamela Anderson & Kid Rock
Everyone may think of Pamela Anderson‘s bikini-clad wedding to Tommy Lee, which they had on a beach in Mexico only four days after meeting each other, as the most iconic one.
However, we would argue her wedding to Kid Rock takes the top spot, all because of how wild their big day was!
For background, Pamela got engaged to the musician in 2002, called off the engagement a year later, but they rekindled their romance in July 2006. That same month — yes, really — they got married on a yacht in St. Tropez! Kid Rock wore a fedora and no shirt while Pamela wore a bikini again!
On August 2, they made it official and had a ceremony at the Beverly Hills Courthouse. Pamela, sporting a Juicy Couture tracksuit, and Kid Rock then took to the stage at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge honky tonk in Nashville to tie the knot AGAIN later that month! To celebrate, he serenaded the bride with Some Kind of Wonderful. Unfortunately, or fortunately, they broke up months later. Pamela filed for a divorce on November 27 of that year, with her rep saying:
“It was not a happy Thanksgiving.”
Pam didn’t get the happy ending she was probably looking for, but at least she delivered an iconic series of weddings and a divorce announcement.
Beyonce & JAY-Z
Beyoncé and JAY-Z, two of the biggest names in the music industry, had the ultimate intimate ceremony of their dreams on April 4, 2008!
The singer and the rapper only invited 40 guests to their secret wedding at their penthouse in New York City, which was decked out in 70,000 white orchids from Thailand. Damn!
Those guests included Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin, and her sister Solange. For the decor, they also had candles, branches, and crystal icicles to create a winter wonderland. But the best touch of the wedding? Bey’s momma, Tina Knowles, designed her strapless ball gown! Aww! A lot of the details about the wedding were kept under wraps until Beyoncé and JAY-Z started giving glimpses of the special day through their projects, including during their On The Run tour and various music videos. Kim Kardashian & Kanye West
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West spared no expense for their wedding! Kicking off their celebration in May 2014, the duo rented out all of the Palace of Versailles to host a rehearsal dinner with 200 guests in the Hall of Mirrors, where everyone enjoyed a delicious meal and a surprise performance from Lana del Rey. Kim and Kanye then flew the whole gang over to Florence to watch them say I do at Forte di Belvedere.
The reality star dressed in a custom lace Givenchy gown designed by Riccardo Tisci, which cost around $500,000. While escorted by Caitlyn Jenner down the aisle, she was also serenaded by Andrea Bocelli. And, of course, the singer later gave us one of the most famous moments from The Kardashians — the feud between Kim and Kourtney Kardashian over the latter’s wedding to Travis Barker in Italy in 2022, which also featured a performance from Bocelli! As Kimmy Kakes said:
“Who performed at my wedding? Andrea Bocelli. Who performed at Kourtney’s wedding? Andrea Bocelli. You stole my f**king wedding country and my wedding performer.”

Victoria & David Beckham
Victoria Beckham is a Spice Girl! Of course, she made the list!
Victoria and David Beckham tied the knot at Ireland’s jaw-dropping Luttrellstown Castle on July 4, 1999, with nearly 300 of their loved ones, including the other members of the Spice Girls and Elton John, in the audience. Posh wore a custom champagne-colored wedding gown from Vera Wang, complete with a 20-foot train and tiara, before changing into a purple number from Antonio Berardi for the reception.
Oh, and Becks matched her too! Even their then-4-month-old son Brooklyn Beckham sported the same look as his mom and dad! And, of course, a castle wedding isn’t complete without gold thrones! Yeah, they actually sat on a throne at their wedding! LOLz! Take a look at the wedding photos (below):

Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge had one of the most viral weddings in 2023 and became the blueprint for the whole “quiet luxury” trend!
The two got married at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France on April 22 of that year, inviting some of their closest and most famous friends and family, like Lionel Richie, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, Cameron Diaz, Joel Madden, and Benji Madden.

You had to know a royal wedding or two would pop up at one point! LOLz!
Starting with the nuptials of Prince William and Princess Catherine, also known as Kate Middleton! The Prince and Princess of Wales exchanged vows before a congregation of 1,900 guests at Westminster Abbey in London on April 29, 2011 — and 72 million folks online, which broke a Guinness World Record for the most live-streamed single event on YouTube.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle
Then there are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s nuptials, which saw the merging of Hollywood and the British monarchy!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor on May 19, 2018 — though this was their second ceremony! They secretly exchanged vows in a backyard ceremony three days before the grand ceremony in front of a star-studded crowd of 600 guests, such as Serena Williams, George and Amal Clooney, the Beckhams, and more.
Obviously, the royal family showed up, like Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, King Charles, Prince William, and Princess Catherine. An estimated 1.9 billion people worldwide watched the pair say I do, too! Wow!
But the best moment from the day? The couple reportedly honored Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, by adding her favorite flower, the forget-me-not, to Meghan’s bouquet. Check out more photos from the wedding day (below):
Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce
Some may call Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding tacky, but we would say the opposite! It is only fitting for one of the greatest pop stars in the world to host her nuptials to one of the biggest names in football at one of the most iconic venues in the country: Madison Square Garden.
The pair tied the knot at the Midtown Manhattan arena on July 3 in front of around 1,000 star-studded guests, including Karlie Kloss, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz, Cara Delevingne, and more. The details of the wedding have been top secret so far, including pictures from the actual event! Yes, that means we don’t know what Tay Tay wore on her big day yet! All we know is that she walked down the aisle wearing a gown designed by Jonathan Anderson of Dior, which she accessorized with Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewelry. The groom also wore a design from Jonathan and Louboutin shoes. Beyond the looks, Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony! No joke!
At the reception, they had attendees play carnival-style games, including skee-ball, miniature golf, and football ring toss. The guests received raffle tickets afterward, which they could use to enter for a chance to win a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, a Chanel or Dior saddle bag, a golf bag, or a Cartier watch. Taylor and Travis then had iconic artists like Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, and Avril Lavigne perform at the nuptials. Oh, and the couple also delivered a duet of their own, according to the football player’s best man and brother, Jason Kelce!
Overall, guests say they had such a good time at the legendary wedding despite the rumors! It was even so iconic that MSG is considering adding a permanent tribute in Taylor and Travis’ honor! Wow! And that’s why they’re on this list!
