Janet Caperna accused Kristen Doute of throwing Brittany Cartwright, Zack Wickham, and Jasmine Goode under the bus with her drinking claims in an effort to defend those of Danny Booko, who has been under fire for his own intake throughout the currently airing third season, after a recent episode of The Valley.
As Lala Kent, 35, called Kristen, 43, a “f*cking rat” for targeting their castmates alongside Nia Booko, 36, and Kristen suggested that Janet, 36, wanted to wear Brittany’s skin, Janet reacted to her drinking comments and defended passing the information to those mentioned.
“I just remember thinking like, ‘Damn, you are willing to do anything to defend this man, including throwing your three best friends under the bus,’” Janet recalled during an episode of The Valley: After Show.
She then wondered why Kristen would get upset with her for repeating something she said on camera.
“Kristen, if you say something with your whole chest, why are you mad that I’m saying it to the people you’re talking about?” she asked.
According to Janet, Kristen texted Zack and filled him in on what happened at that lunch. However, he likely had a very different reaction to Kristen calling out his drinking than he would’ve had if she had done the same.
“Let’s see how he feels after he sees it. I think if I would have said, ‘Well, Zack, Jasmine, and Brittany, if we’re gonna talk about who should stop drinking, we should start with those three,’ I think Zack would literally use that against me for the rest of my life,” she suspected.
Lala was equally confused by Kristen’s comments about their castmates’ drinking habits, saying, “Not only does she put a target on Danny and Nia’s back, she’s a little f*cking rat. She cannot win. Poor thing.”
As for Janet’s decision to inform the group of what was being said, Brittany said she knew her intentions were good.
“She didn’t mean to make me upset or whatever. She heard something that upset her, and because she loves me, she wanted to, like, let me know what was being said,” Brittany explained.
Meanwhile, Kristen clarified her comments about Brittany, Zack, and Jasmine’s drinking.
“I said three of the people I drink the most with, first and foremost, who are loud when they drink. I said myself after the fact, which apparently was the whole issue,” she shared.
She then targeted Janet’s apparent obsession with Brittany, stating, “[Janet] wants Brittany all to herself. She wants to wear Brittany’s skin. Zack said this in season one.”
Then, after Kristen joked that Brittany’s old implants were “in a trophy case in Janet’s guest room,” Zack recalled reaching out to Kristen and Nia after the drinking comments were made.
“I texted Nia and Kristen right away and said, ‘What did you say?’ I think I specifically said, ‘Just want to give you the heads up, Janet said you’re talking sh*t about me, Jasmine, and Brittany, and then Nia goes, ‘Huh?’ And I go, ‘Okay, exactly,’” he declared.
