Port City FC sign former Nsoatreman FC winger Kwabena Adu Meider
Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Port City FC have completed the signing of former Nsoatreman FC and Legon Cities winger Kwabena Adu Meider, the club has confirmed.
The pacey winger has signed a two-year contract with the Premier League debutants as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Adu Meider joins Port City FC as the club prepares for its first-ever season in Ghana’s top flight. The winger brings valuable Premier League experience from his spells with Nsoatreman FC and Legon Cities.
The club recently announced the signing of goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi on a one-year deal from Dreams FC. The addition of Adu Meider is the latest in a series of moves as Port City build a squad capable of competing in the top flight.
Port City won the Division One League Zone Three title to secure promotion alongside Ashantigold ’04 and Debibi United.
The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to kick off over the weekend of September 4â7, 2026.
Adu Meider will be expected to provide width and creativity as Port City aim to establish themselves in Ghana’s top division.
