Fergal O’Brien and Harry Derham sent runners to Ffos Las on a fantastic Sunday card, live on Sky Sports Racing.
3.55 Ffos Las – Derham hoping to continue their good run
Beyond Redemption has been one of Harry Derham’s most successful young coaches in his career so far and could once again enter the feature DragonBet Backing Welsh Sport Handicap Chase (3:55).
He will have to carry top weight in Paul O’Brien after his success at Wincanton in January, and faces an interesting competitor Venetia Williams in the Eceparti.
Robert Bevis trained the late winner Unblinking, while Get Prepared has run many big races for Ben Pauling’s late team.
4.30 Ffos Las – Fergal chase four-timer
Fergal O’Brien Description Intentional bid for four successful victories DragonBet Online And On-Course Handicap Odds (4:30) under Paddy Brennan at the start of the eighth.
From the opposition in the 13-runner field, Moorland Rambler looks unexposed and won last time in Exeter so it should be considered alongside William Ewart for the in-form Christian Williams team.
Jonjo O’Neill’s Copper Cove is another note, with Jonjo Jr on the plate.
3.20 Ffos Las – Pair of last time clash winners
Kingcormac and Lazy Sunday both won last time out so it will take a decent performance to beat the pair DragonBet Backing Welsh Sport Novices’ Handicap Chase (3:20).
Sunday’s Lazy Richard Mitford-Slade came in search of a hat-trick after wins at Exeter and Lingfield, while Kingcormac managed to pull off a maiden at Hereford – they got the services of Harry Cobden.
Of the others, Magnificent Ben may be worth keeping an eye on even though he is a beaten favorite last time out and is yet to win in 11 attempts.
Watch Ffos Las live on Sky Sports Racing on Sunday 5 March.
