Taylor Frankie Paul admitted to sleeping with Dakota Mortensen after getting engaged to Doug Mason in a TikTok comment shared earlier this week.
After Dakota’s roommate, Cru Eaton, posted a video in which he alleged that the 31-year-old Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star had slept with Dakota, 33, on the same night that she got engaged to Doug, 28, the winner of her yet-to-air season of The Bachelorette, Taylor fired back with a message of her own.
“No the day after,” Taylor clarified, as seen in a screenshot shared by The Secret Lives HQ on Threads.
Following the sharing of the post, many fans reacted with shock.
“Girl wtf?” one person asked.
“And people think she cute and cool and funny,” said someone else.
Then, after a third said, “Yikes,” and a fourth wrote, “Smh,” another asked, “Why does anyone want to watch her season knowing this?”
As fans well know, Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette was canceled after a series of disturbing videos of her domestic violence encounters with Dakota. However, after weeks of court appearances against her ex, and as she remained in touch with Doug, Taylor was able to evade charges related to the past incidents, and rumors began to swirl in regard to her season airing.
Most recently, in an article shared in May, Reality Steve alleged that Taylor’s season was “going to air.”
“And not only that,” he elaborated. “It’s not getting dumped on a streamer. It’s gonna air on ABC this summer. Now ABC’s upfronts are coming next week. My guess is that’s when they will announce they’ve officially moved forward and are going to play Taylor Frankie Paul’s season this summer on ABC.”
As the season remains unconfirmed by ABC, it’s hard to say where Taylor stands with Doug.
