NAC Breda part ways with Mathew Amoah

Dutch club NAC Breda have parted ways with striker’s coach Mathew Amoah.

The club’s legendary forward leaves his role following NAC Breda’s demotion from the Eredivisie.

Amoah was assigned the position of striker’s coach in January, and was tasked with the job of improving the team’s conversion rate.

Despite his work with the period, the Yellow and Black could not survive the drop.

“NAC thanks Tomasz, Gábor, and Matthew very much for their services and wishes them all the best for the future,” said the club’s Technical Director, Peter Mass.

NAC also decided against extending the contracts of veteran Ghanaian players Dennis Odoi and Andre Ayew at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, talks are in place with Anouar Diba as striker’s coach and Serdal Güvenç as assistant coach to continue their stay at NAC Breda.

Amoah spent most of his career in the Netherlands playing for Vitesse Arnhem, NAC Breda, Heracles Almelo and Heerenven.

He also played 45 times for Ghana’s Black Stars and was a member of the team at the 2006 and 2010 World Cup.
