Gary Neville names Antoine Semenyo in English Premier League Team of the Season
Former Manchester United captain and football pundit, Gary Neville, has included Manchester City star Antoine Semenyo in his Premier League Team of the Season.
The Ghana international made Neville’s best eleven after scoring 16 Premier League goals and delivering four assists in 35 games for AFC Bournemouth and Manchester City.
Semenyo joins City teammates Nico O’reilly, Erling Haaland and Bernado Silva in the team dominated by Arsenal players.
The Gunners, who are on the brink of winning the Premier League for the first time in 22 years, have David Raya, Declan Rice, defenders William Saliba, Jurrien Timber and Gabriel Malaghaes.
Player of the Season leading contender Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United and Igor Thiago of Brentford completes the ex-Valencia manager’s Team of the Season.
Meanwhile, Semenyo delivered Man City the FA Cup title on Saturday after netting an exquisite backheel winner against Chelsea.
The ambidextrous forward joined City in January and has already won the domestic double with Pep Guardiola’s men.
