Generation: The Legacy announced on Friday that two new actors would be joining the cast.

Nicholas Nkuna, famous for his role as Fikani in the popular Afrikaans soap opera 7th Ave will play the role of Anathi Mpofu, a seductive bad boy and rogue journalist who will get the story no matter the cost.

Despite not knowing or speaking Afrikaans, Nkuna successfully landed roles in Afrikaans soap operas because the role only required her to speak English.

The 34-year-old actor and singer told Sowetan Live although he found it challenging to take on his first role in an Afrikaans production, he decided to put himself in and do his best to understand and understand the script in order to understand the concept of the scene.

In his new role as Anathi Mpofu in Generation: The LegacyThe actor said that he had always dreamed of being part of the show.

“Generation is one show, when I was growing up, it was always like a dream to be a part of that show and what it has done for South African television, for African television. I wanted to be part of that dream! This is actually not the first time I have presented a show mentioned. This is the third time. Casting director Russel Savadier said he found an actor in Nicholas who could master every scene.

“He’s got a great screen presence – and we think he’s a perfect fit for the new Hard Nosed Reporter,” Savadier said.

Rebaone Kgosimore also joined in to play

Rebaone Kgosimore will take on the role of playboy, lover, shrewd businessman, and scion of the powerful Moroka family as Paul Moroka Jnr.

While playing the role, the actor said he was over the moon and very happy.

“I’ve been through a lot and I’ve only been part of the show for a month. I hope the audience can enjoy the ups and downs, and the twists and turns. The audience can expect to see black people as they’ve never seen black people before! said.

Savadier said they were looking for a Tswana speaking actor, able to embody all the qualities of Paul Moroka Jnr.

“Rebaone Kgosimore has natural charm and good looks and a strong physical resemblance to Mpho, who is Kabisi Moroka’s father. We feel he is a great addition to the Generation Family,” he said.

The actors will make their first appearance on the screen on March 8.
