Jesse Solomon revealed how much money he made last year, and he shared whether the Summer House drama is “real.” He also addressed where he stands with Ciara Miller and her ex, West Wilson, after asking him for a green light to make out with her.

In a recent episode, Ciara called out Jesse for his strange question to West, and she made it clear that the only person he needs permission from is Ciara herself. Last week, Amanda Batula and West went public with their relationship.

On the Trading Secrets podcast, Jesse was asked if he made over $1 million last year.

“I broke a seven-figure threshold in 2025,” answered Jesse, who shared that his life in general in the last 18 months has had “ups and downs.”

“It can be hard to open up, especially as a man, when you’ve been taught to bottle up and hold in your emotions, to speak freely about them on national television, it can be a scary thing,” he said.

At one point, Jesse addressed whether the drama on Summer House is real.

“That’s what makes our show work, how real it is,” he said. “Nobody’s telling us to do anything.” As for his singing career, Jesse claimed he’s received “a lot of hate.”

“[The hate] definitely gives you pause, but I have so much fun, and it brings me so much joy,” he said. “It feels like what I’m supposed to be doing, so I’m trying to just drown out the haters and do what I love.”

As for where he stands with Ciara, Jesse called his co-star “mature for her age,” and he said she’s still his “good friend.”

“She keeps me in check,” he stated.

On the Casual Chaos podcast, via Us Weekly, Jesse shared his regret for asking West for a green light to kiss Ciara.

“He wasn’t totally cool with it, so I backed off,” said Jesse. “Obviously, I regret how I handled that situation. I think I kind of let my feelings get the best of me. I should’ve had a conversation with Ciara.”

“If I was going to have a conversation with West, it should have been a more serious conversation,” the star continued. “Not a flippant makeout ask in front of other people. Overall, I ended up hurting both of my friends, and I really thought I was doing the right thing at the time.”

Jesse claimed he apologized to Ciara multiple times.

“When you have love for each other, you can get past these things,” said the castmate, who said he’s still in a good place with West. “Such a good guy. … We’re very different, but we both get along really well.”

“He was there for me during hard times and I’ve been there for him,” he went on. “Not everything gets shown [on TV]. … “We’ve both been through a lot together and we both, kind of like, have our own lanes. I don’t feel a competitive energy to our relationship. … He’s been so supportive of my music stuff and I really appreciate that, so it’s been good. I’m lucky to have him.”
