At this time, it is unclear exactly what substance De La Garza is banned from. But whatever, you can clearly see in the amazing clip that he’s proud of his accomplishments. He’s got it!
FWIW, in January, Maddie posted another TikTok video showing a filter with some leaf emojis and the words “I quit in 7 days” – to which she replied:
“Too late… came out 206 days ago and I couldn’t be happier”
Although they don’t know the specifics, the leaf emoji is often used to represent marijuana. But either way, it’s clear Madison is pushing herself in more ways than one. Snaps and claps for self-improvement!

“This is the cutest video!! Your smile is so cute!! So proud of you!!”
Convenient!
Of course, Madison and Dianne know the dangers of addiction very well. Demi nearly died of an overdose in the summer of 2018, and has since been working hard to recover. In fact, the Gnome Alone The actress talks about her experience in July 2018 in the exciting documentary 2021 Demi Lovato: Dancing With The Devil. Remembering what her sister went through, Madison said this in a series about learning about her first overdose:
“I heard my mother pick up the phone. There was a voice telling me something very bad had happened and I had to get dressed because we had to go.
Madison also remembers how the Camp Rock alum temporarily loses vision as a result of a near-fatal overdose:
“The first moment I saw Demi in the hospital, when she opened her eyes, she looked at me. I held her hand and I said, ‘I’m here and I love you’ just to let her know I’ve been to the hospital, and she saw me die in the eyes and said, ‘who is that?’ What he didn’t want to hear his sister said.”
Oof. Even now, almost five years later, Demi’s overdose experience is still there become scary to think about.
It’s even more exciting to see Lovato’s sister on a positive path. We love this accomplishment for Madison!!!
