From comedians to vodka seltzer sommeliers! Saturday Night Live’s Chloe Fineman stars in NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer’s first major advertising campaign as Günter, the brand’s spokesperson.

The comedian, 34, said he was “intrigued” when the seltzer vodka brand first approached him and asked him to help develop a new spokesperson.

“I’m thrilled to be working with the team to create a quirky but instantly lovable seltzer vodka for fans who appreciate the finer things in life and understand what it takes to make a quality drink,” he said in a press release.

Fineman was also attracted to the brand because he likes “simple drinks like vodka seltzers.”

“And I love the idea of ​​Günter, this fun character, and the slogan ‘Nütrl! The one with the umlaut!’ it really made me laugh,” Gear Patrol said in a February 2023 interview. “And I think I’m like a dog and like simple drinks, so I was like, ‘I can handle this. Vodka, seltzer, real juice, let’s go.'”

Günter’s character has made it his mission to introduce the world to this delicious spirit-based seltzer. Throughout the campaign, they feature monochromatic looks with pops of color to pay homage to the real fruit flavors and distinct aesthetics of NÜTRL.

Fineman was initially drawn to the silliness of the campaign and the joy of creating her own unique character.

“The idea of ​​Günter and that keyword was there, and I was like, ‘Oh, this is perfect, Günter is like a cousin to some of the characters I play,'” the California native said in the same interview. “So it’s really fun to improvise and make this character ‘weird’ and find out what makes this character weird. We make wigs, make costumes and do a lot of improvisation and try different funny things. We always laugh at everything, so it’s fun.

Fineman and his co-authors, Casey Thomas, training dialogue with NÜTRL’s superior taste and simple recipes that delight in the front of the narrative. The campaign highlights each of the brand’s flavors including Pineapple, Watermelon, Lemonade and Cranberry.
