Meghan Markle and Prince Harry couldn’t be more transparent in recent months.

The latest volley of nonsense comes from notorious royal muckraker Tom Bower, who has actually made a career out of Harry and Meghan.
In his latest tirade, Bower claims Meghan is the least successful gold digger on the planet.
He said that he mistakenly believed that Harry had become rich, and that he could separate him from his family and still have access to his vast fortune.
“Her surprise and disappointment is that Prince Harry has so little money,” Bower told Page Six this week.
“He had imagined that he would be worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, and now he had to make it,” he said.
“[Markle] want to ride in big Cadillacs, private jets in command. At that moment he had to look for such things.
You’d think that after all these years, Meghan’s haters would at least have a consistent attack.
Just last week, he claimed that Meghan was obsessed with the royal family before she met Harry, and that she married him for the title.
Now, Bower is putting forth a theory that Meghan knows nothing about how the institution was and how Harry became a billionaire.
Anyway, it all worked out for him in the end.
As Page Six points out, Harry and Meghan’s net worth is estimated at $10 million, and there’s no indication that the money will ever stop.
Harry’s memoirs have become one of the best-selling books of the 21st century, and will surely bring the prince even better deals.
Meanwhile, Meghan’s podcast is one of the most popular on Spotify, and shows no signs of slowing down.
So no, Harry isn’t a billionaire, but as his big splash in the SoCal community of Montecito reminds us, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are doing pretty well for themselves.
Perhaps the couple is not as much as if they remained members of the royal family.
But something tells me these two have no regrets about embarking on the path to greater freedom and contentment.
