In a clip that has gone mega-viral TwitterCranston first looks back at some of the more embarrassing parts of American history:
“How can we treat other human beings as slaves and it’s okay?”
Next, he showed his gaze at the former apprentice the host becomes a wannabe dictator. Talk about “MAGA” as a slogan and as a political movement, Cranston schooled everyone watching with an important lesson about history – and how it doesn’t always turn out well for Black America:
“When I saw ‘Make America Great Again,’ my comment was, ‘do you agree that could be considered a racist comment?’ And most people – most people – go, ‘how can you be racist? Make America Great Again?’ So, ask yourself from the African-American experience, when was it really good in America for African-Americans? When was it great? So, if you make it good again, it’s not among them. So to teach us, in the world’ wake up’, open up, and accept the possibility that our privilege has created blindspots for us. And maybe I haven’t seen what’s happening, over the years.
