Jake Paul will force a rematch with Tommy Fury after losing a split decision in their ongoing clash.
Paul met Fury in an eight-rounder in Saudi Arabia. It proved to be the first loss of his pro boxing career but also the first time Paul faced an opponent with a sporting background.
In boxing, the YouTube star turned prizefighter has beaten mixed martial artists, including 47-year-old UFC legend Anderson Silva. But in Fury he took on the prospect of undefeated boxing for the first time.

Paul struggled at times, while Fury showed more variety. Fury lands the first jabs and is more confident in his footwork and movement. This leaves Paul exposed and vulnerable to fighting for rights.
But there are still some bright moments for “Problem Child”. He clipped Fury with a left, holding him with a lead as a hook and jolting Fury when throwing directly.
Even Fury noted about the antagonist: “Jake Paul took some good shots – he’s a better boxer than I thought.”
In the final round when Paul made a breakthrough, he slammed a left into Fury again, catching his advancing opponent and dropping him to the canvas.
Fury was not hurt too much and rallied with a strong finish to the fight.

In the dressing room before the fight, Tommy Fury happily sings with his brother Tyson before holding his hand.
But it will give Paul hope and some positivity to work from.
He has made it clear that he will force a rematch. Paul has a rematch clause he wants to enforce.
“We can reopen,” Paul said. “I think we deserve another match.”
He continued: “All respect to Tommy, he won. Don’t judge me by my wins, judge me by my losses.”
Paul claims he had a problem in training camp that left him “flat” in the fight.
“I felt flat – I was very sick twice in this camp, injured my arm. It was not the best performance, but there is no excuse,” he said.

Fury welcomed the prospect of a rematch.
“This is the first main event. If they want a rematch, bring it,” Fury said.
Paul certainly gave no sign that he would leave his adventures in boxing.
“It’s definitely a humbling experience,” Paul said, but he added: “I’ve gone further than I thought I would, and beyond.”
It seems that Paul is not worried, he wants to see how much more he can do.
