No need to say goodbye! Kate Hudson have been so show her up and down relationships over the years – but she manages to stay on good terms with almost all her exes.
“Like I said, I don’t recommend it to most people, my situation is amazing,” Hudson said during the September 2019 episode of “Divorce Sucks!” podcast when discussing having a positive relationship with her former flame. “Everyone is in harmony. It was funny, and we laughed about it. I never thought my life would turn out like this, but it did. All I want is happy kids, and that’s our priority.
Hudson met his first wife Chris Robinson on vacation when he was 20 years old. The two had a whirlwind romance before tying the knot in 2000 and welcoming their son Ryder four years later.
“I thought, ‘I’m in love so much and I want to get married,’ so I didn’t think twice. And I’m still like that, except with other wisdom,” Hudson said of her and Robinson’s dynamic during a February 2023 episode of “The First Podcast on The World With Erin & Sara Foster.”
The couple split in 2006 but remain on good terms with their son. Onion Glass: A Knives Out Mystery star moved with Matt Bellamy in 2010. The duo got engaged after less than a year of dating – and just three months before welcoming their son, Bingham. While the two called it quits in 2014, they remained close friends.
“Me and Matt, we have a great way of talking about Bing and applying the same rules at home,” she explained on “Divorce Sucks!” in March 2019. “We found it really important for Bing to feel like there’s no ‘you can’t get away with anything’ in each other’s homes. Mom and Dad are on the same page.”
Hudson started dating Danny Fujikawa in December 2016, and the couple welcomed daughter Rani Rose in 2018. Three years later, the Chief guitarist popped the question.
Hudson is often candid about balancing coparenting relationships with the fathers of her children and talks about a healthy — but unique — dynamic.
“It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside, I think it’s killer,” said the Fabletics founder. Sunday Times in November 2022. “The unit that I have created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it is us. I am not interested in forcing some conventional idea of love or marriage.

“For me, you love this person. It’s not just lost, but you can restore a different kind of love,” he said. “You can have an amazing time with your ex-partner because you really only focus on the love of your child.”
