Next take offAfter their tragic death last year, fans are still wondering if Migos will ever return, and it looks like their friend and uncle. Quavo finally gave me an answer. In his new song greatnessThe 31-year-old rapper revealed in the lyrics that the group would not reform without Takeoff:
“So don’t ask about the group / they go, we go… / can’t come back”
It’s so sad.

This isn’t the first time Quavo has opened up about losing his nephew in a song. Just last month the rapper released another track titled Without You which also features some lyrics related to Takeoff’s death:
“My tears are falling / Can’t tell you how many times I’ve cried / Days ain’t the same without you / I don’t know if I’m the same without you”
He continued in the song:
“I wish I had a time machine / Just so you could ride with me / Wrap my arms around me and hold you, Phew, so you can’t say goodbye to me / Out in the galaxy, up in the stars / Sound of the universe, bigger than Mars / See you in heaven, see heaven / When I see you in heaven, I’ll be with my dog”

At fried the rapper has released some good tributes to Takeoff, it’s so sad that it has to end like this. We send love and light to Quavo, Offset, Card B, and the rest of the late rapper’s family and loved ones. May they continue to find peace in the midst of this unthinkable tragedy.
