Last year, the nonstop news about Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker kept the world together.
They got married. Then another. And then the third wedding, because why not? Life has its ups and downs, but the marriages that survive remain strong.
But… a new pic of Travis shows him very conspicuously not wearing a wedding band.
Even when ordinary people do this, sometimes it means something. When recently married celebrities do it in public, it can portend the death of the marriage. Are they okay?

When Travis and Kourtney held their third (and possibly last) wedding ceremony, they went all out.
They jetted to Italy. It’s a huge production. Exactly what you can expect from this family.
But there was an important sign: an event so important that Travis Barker was willing to get on a plane. Considering he barely survived a fatal plane crash years ago, that’s a big deal.

Why is this important? Because, sometimes, avoiding something for a long time out of (justifiable) fear and then doing it can sort of “break” the hold that has passed you.
Travis and his band, Blink-182, are now gearing up for a world tour.
Fans of the pop-pump ensemble have thanked, to their own surprise, Kourtney. Thanks to him, many have tweeted, they can see Blink-182 in concert again. Because Travis is willing to fly now.

Why do we mention this? Because it’s quite key to the context, here.
Take a look, Travis Barker shared photos from his preparations. Before he, Tom DeLong, and Mark Hoppus started their tour, they had to practice a lot.
However, one month out of the tour, this photo shows a stunning lack of wedding ring in the hands of this married man.

Sure enough, rumors immediately began to spread that there was some terrible trouble in heaven.
Honest? It’s not hysterical by any means. Not every celebrity couple drops their divorce news on the Friday before the holiday weekend. Sometimes, grim news appears in bits and pieces – like a missing wedding ring.
But this time, there was an explanation. Travis has been incredibly lucky in his life. But luck is not always on your side.

On February 8, Travis took to Twitter to explain the grim fate of his finger.
According to him, he “crushed” the finger “so hard, I dislocated and tore the ligament.”
While we can applaud the dedication to continue to work in music, it seems that it has happened again.

For the second time in two weeks, Travis appears to have suffered the same injury.
This time, he included a long-lost digital photo, captioned “AGAIN.”
It’s not good news for fingers or ligaments. Repetitive injuries that damage parts of your body that you use for your art and work? Common, and miserable.

However, those rooting for this couple – from Team Travis, Team Kourtney, or those who love both – can breathe a sigh of relief.
There is no sign of trouble in heaven. Travis just didn’t force the ring into his hand when his fingers were all jacked up.
Meanwhile, the tour dates have not changed. It starts in just a few weeks – on March 11th in Tijuana.
