Governor Addison is strong, healthy and in full control, ignoring the propaganda – BoG source, Freelance Journalist
Freelance business and financial journalist, Kwesi Adu urged the public to ignore the content of the front page story of the Herald newspaper which sought to create the impression that Governor Addison was unwell and then handed over the management of the Bank to the Second Deputy Governor. , Miss Elsie Addo Awadzi.
He said Governor Addison was very healthy and in full control of the Bank.
“I think the bad propaganda should stop. The content of the story is false and useless. I have been following the activities of the Bank, including monitoring the Press Conference of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) on facebook. If the Governor is not well, how can he stand for an hour reading the MPC statement and also answered questions from the press. From my assessment, I think it’s very healthy. I think the video is available on the internet for everyone to see.
“I have also attended events and programs where the Governor was invited to give a speech. He looked very good. Since the publication of the story, I have joined some former schoolmates who are employees of the Bank of Ghana to verify the veracity of the news story. The feedback is that the Governor is always in send and do not spend time abroad. The news that he is always out of the country for medical reasons is a lie. I can believe that he reports to work in the morning and is very closed.”
“I will urge Governor Addison and the Management to focus on work and not be destroyed by propaganda in some circles. I commend Governor Addison for the management led to fund the government in 2022, which ensures stability and no chaos in the country.

“I am surprised that the governor is healthy, I mean he comes to work, does his normal duties and so I don’t know where he came from,” said a source who spoke on condition of anonymity.
