Responding to a question raised, Karen who runs a women’s clothing line in Accra said she believes that Ghanaian youths are a bit lazy, hence, the reason for the high unemployment in Ghana.
“Sometimes I feel like the education system, education, you know, like a mixture of everything. But technically, I would say, and this is really honest, I think 80 percent of the youth today are a bit lazy,” he said.
Karen added” I work 6 days, I run my own business and this is the 12th year we have done this, and this is supposed to be my own business, but I am more concerned about the salary that I have to pay but why Do I work more than others when others have days off “
“It’s my own business and the people who are supposed to be doing the work so we have the money to pay them complain too, you know there’s always a reason.” he said in the video below which caused a reaction online.
