Melissa Gorga it has been noted many times Theresa Judge had bragged about his new brother-in-law – and Joe Judge‘s response to Teresa’s latest post which gushed over your husband Luis Ruelas‘ma’am, Dr. Veronica Ruelas.
Before showing the “biggest misconception” of Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 and in response to Teresa blaming her for the family feud, Melissa was asked how she felt about Teresa labeling Veronica as the sister she “always dreamed of.”
“Good for him. You got people. good. I love it,” Melissa said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
As RHONJ fans have also seen, Teresa Ex-husband took notice of the apparent dig and commented, in the message since-deleted, “I thought you loved Melissa,” which even Melissa was amused by.
“That’s where Joe Giudice is funny. I thought that was funny,” he admitted.
According to Melissa, the “biggest misconception” of the upcoming episode is the speculation surrounding her and Joe Gorga‘s decision to skip Teresa and Luis Ruelas‘get married.
“I think he’ll understand why I didn’t go to the party. I did,” he insisted. “I think it would make sense, not for everyone. I think some people might see it differently, but it’s true for me and my family.
As for why Melissa believes that Teresa previously blamed her for the estrangement with Joe, the RHONJ cast members say Teresa just doesn’t want to hold Joe responsible.
“I think it’s easier to blame me. We have seen that throughout the year. Nothing new,” said Melissa. “That’s for sure, all roads lead to Melissa.”
While the trailer for season 13 teased a lot of family drama, Melissa suggested that Joe not film much with his sister.
“I don’t think he was in one scene with Teresa almost all season. There might have been one,” she said. “He was very angry about some of the things that you will find in the finale.”
Melissa also applauded Teresa’s suggestion that she always wanted to keep Joe away from her.
“If you all have nothing to do with your brother, the whole family is out of your wedding, don’t invite my mother, you don’t have a daughter, you don’t have a sister-in-law, you’re the only one. brother’s wife, it’s not me who broke up the family ,” Melissa said. “I think someone needs to look in the mirror.”
Looking back, Melissa gave a nod to the “crazy” season 12 reunion, which featured Teresa slamming her sister as a “b-tch” as Jennifer Aydin done in winter.
“Reunions are crazy. It’s so sad. That’s where Joe was like … It was rough between Joe and Teresa at that reunion and I think he was very insulted to leave there, “Melissa admitted. “He felt that he was following her with Jennifer instead of staying with her and it was definitely a double standard.”
When the 13th season began filming shortly after the reunion, Melissa declined an invitation to Teresa’s 50th birthday.
“It felt fake. It felt forced. It felt like nothing after announcing on national TV that I was the only sister not at the party,” Melissa explained of the decision.
She then notes that she believes Teresa only invited her because of the backlash she received after the bridesmaid snub.
“I think they got a lot of backlash, if I’m being honest, about nixing us from anything to do with the party. I think people were like, ‘Why did you do that?’ and he’s trying to clean up a little bit of the mess he made,” Melissa advised.
“I’m not punishing him. That’s not the point here. I don’t want to play the game anymore. I’m done with the game… I’m just being real with the fact that I can’t believe that he wants to spend five days with me on the island,” he added.
