“I want to thank the people of Adamawa for showing their love for us and their son, Atiku the next president of Nigeria.

“This is the second time PDP has come to the rescue of Nigeria. For the past 16 years, we have rebuilt it. PDP is a party of the people and not a party of individuals or groups. APC is an alliance and it is falling apart. The policy of the party is to redesign the naira and bring sorrow to Nigerians. PDP come bring hope.

“What is good about Adamawa is that it has more than 100 ethnic groups and they all live in peace. My heart will unite the country and we will all live in peace,” he said.

He noted that the students are worried about the strike and the farmers are worried about the insecurity affecting the agricultural yield.

He said, “I have never seen a rally like this. We thank you for coming to support our son, Waziri Adamawa.

Thank you for giving us leaders to give Nigeria, good people who know Nigeria.

Our students are worried about their education, business people are worried that their business will collapse, and farmers are also worried about insecurity. But don’t worry help is coming, in Atiku. Mobilize the masses and vote for Atiku on February 25.

“My heart is the only one who can secure the future of Nigeria. He has been tested and can deliver. Other candidates want to use Nigeria to learn,” he said.

On his part, the Director General of the Atiku/Okowa campaign and the Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal welcomed the crowd to the rally.

He said, “I commend all the party leaders and members for all their efforts, when the campaign started, we had 18 contestants and the main candidate was Atiku and the main ticket was Atiku/Okowa. We are not ethnic bigots.

We presented candidates who are ready for the election and serve Nigerians. Other candidates do not have the experience of Atiku and Okowa.

“As a former Speaker, I know the difference and only Atiku/Okowa can move the country forward. The ticket represents pan Nigeria. We will not vote for APC again.
