Teddy Mellencamp ono day “unbelievably hard” in marriage with Edwin Arroyaveand admits he sometimes “wants[s] to surrender.”
At The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shares three children with the 45-year-old, and the youngest was born when Teddi was still a castmate.
In 2021, Teddi told the singer John Mayer “Go f**k yourself,” after he allegedly insinuated her hit on him Andy Cohenbaby shower. At the time, he explained on the “Two T’s In A Pod” podcast that the Grammy-winning artist had misinterpreted his words.
In a very candid Valentine’s Day post on Instagram, Teddi talked about her marriage to Edwin.
“And here we are… 14 Valentines later,” Teddi wrote in the caption. At first, he likened the comparison between his marriage and his father’s relationship, John Mellencamp, and his mother Vicky.
“I don’t have a single memory of my parents together,” she said and suggested that she could not imagine having a loving relationship.
When married to Edwin, Teddi admits, “Some days are really hard, and I want to give up.”
The star said she and Edwin have learned their strengths and “weaknesses” and are better at not “ripping them off”.[ing] each other down.”
Despite the difficulties, Teddi called Edwin her “Valentine,” and said she was “proud” as a couple. In the post, he uploaded two photos of the couple: one at the beginning of their relationship, and one now.
“We can do this,” the 41-year-old wrote, speaking directly to her husband, “and keep laughing in the street … I love you.”
