Kansas City Chiefs 19-22 Denver Broncos

Wil Lutz kicked five field goals, including a 35-yard game-winner as time expired, to see the Denver Broncos to an eighth-straight victory as they beat the Kansas City Chiefs 22-19.

With the win, the Broncos (9-2) have all but ensured the Chiefs (5-5) won’t claim the AFC West divisional title for a 10th-straight season.

Bo Nix set up the game-winning kick with a 32-yard pass to Troy Franklin that got Denver to the Kansas City 15-yard line with under a minute remaining.

Patrick Mahomes had given Kansas City its only lead of the game on a 21-yard touchdown toss to Travis Kelce – the veteran tight end’s 84th career TD, to set a new Chiefs franchise record and break his tie with Priest Holmes.

That score put the Chiefs up 19-16, albeit Harrison Butker’s extra point was blocked by Frank Crum, with the Broncos subsequently tying things up at 19-19 with four minutes remaining, before Lutz’s game-winning kick late on.

Seattle Seahawks 19-21 Los Angeles Rams

Kamren Kinchens claimed two of four interceptions and Matthew Stafford threw two touchdown passes as the Los Angeles hung on to beat the Seattle Seahawks 21-19 in a crunch clash at the top of the NFC West.

Jason Myers came up short on a 61-yard field goal attempt for the win as time expired, ensuring the the Rams (8-2) claimed a fifth-straight victory as they held off a late Seahawks rally.

Seattle’s defense got a quick stop after Kenneth Walker dived in for the Seahawks’ first touchdown with just under two and a half minutes to play.

Sam Darnold then shook off his rough afternoon to get the Seahawks in position for a potential game-winning kick. Myers had made four earlier field goals, but came up well short with his final effort.

Davante Adams claimed his 10th touchdown of the season for the Rams, while Kyren Williams rushed for 91 yards and a score.

In defeat, the Seahawks’ (7-3) remarkable 10-game win streak on the road ended.

Baltimore Ravens 23-16 Cleveland Browns

Tight end Mark Andrews ran 35 yards for the go-ahead touchdown on a fake tush push, as the Baltimore Ravens rallied for a 23-16 victory over the Cleveland Browns to spoil Shedeur Sanders’ NFL debut.

On fourth-and-inches at the Browns 35-yard line with two and a half minutes to go, Baltimore (5-5) lined up with Andrews under center but, instead of going up the middle, he escaped untouched out to the right and into the end zone.

Rookie Sanders made his much-anticipated debut when coming into the game early in the second half in relief of starting QB Dillon Gabriel, who suffered a concussion.

The son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders struggled throughout, going 4 for 16 for 47 yards, with an interception and being sacked twice, finishing with a 13.5 passer rating. Gabriel completed 7 of 10 passes for 68 yards in the first half.

The Browns drop to 2-8 on the season, while the Ravens move back to .500 with their fourth-straight victory.

San Francisco 49ers 41-22 Arizona Cardinals

Brock Purdy threw three touchdown passes in his return from a toe injury, while Christian McCaffrey had two rushing TDs and a receiving score as the San Francisco 49ers beat the sloppy Arizona Cardinals 41-22.

McCaffrey extended his NFL record with his 17th career game with at least one rushing and receiving touchdown. Tight end George Kittle also found the end zone twice for the 49ers.

The 49ers move to 7-4 on the season to stay competitive in the NFC West, while Arizona (3-7) lost for the sixth time in seven games.

The Cardinals were called for a franchise-record 17 penalties, which was also the most for any team in the NFL this season. They had 11 penalties in the first half alone – tied for the most before half-time for any team over the past 20 years.

Jacoby Brissett started his fifth-straight game at QB, in for the injured Kyler Murray, and completed 47 of 57 passes for 452 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. His 47 completions set an NFL record in the regular season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 32-43 Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen tallied six total touchdowns – three passing and three rushing – in a staggering display as the Buffalo Bills beat out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 44-32 in a thrilling back-and-forth contest.

Reigning MVP Allen became the first player with two games of three TDs passing and rushing, having also achieved the feat in a 44-42 loss at the Los Angeles Rams last year.

This time, Allen outdueled fellow 2018 first-round draft pick Baker Mayfield in a shootout that featured nine lead changes.

Each of Allen’s three touchdown passes went for 25 yards or more: running back Ty Johnson scored on a 52-yard catch-and-run, he found Tyrell Shavers open deep for a 43-yard touchdown, and James Cook scored on a 25-yard reception.

Allen also provided the go-ahead score, a five-yard TD run with nine minutes left. He finished 19 of 30 for 317 yards, with the Bills (7-3) managing to overcome his two first-half interceptions.

Tampa Bay (6-4) has lost two straight and four of its last seven, with the outcome decided when Mayfield lost a fumble when being sacked by DaQuan Jones inside the final two minutes.

Mayfield finished 16 of 28 for 173 yards with two total TDs and an interception, whle Sean Tucker rushed for 106 yards and two scores.

Chicago Bears 19-17 Minnesota Vikings

Devin Duvernay’s 56-yard kickoff return in the final minute set up Cairo Santos his game-winning fourth field goal of the day for the Chicago Bears as they held off a Minnesota Vikings comeback to win 19-17.

After Vikings (4-6) quarterback JJ McCarthy ended another erratic performance with five-straight completions that culminated with a 15-yard scoring strike to Jordan Addison for the lead with 40 seconds left, Duvernay delivered the clutch response for the Bears (7-3).

McCarthy, who played with a wrap on his throwing hand after hurting it on a helmet after a follow-through in Minnesota’s previous game, ended consecutive second-quarter possessions with interceptions. He finished 16 for 32 for 150 yards and a 47.7 passer rating in his fifth career start.

Caleb Williams, who was drafted No 1 by the Bears, nine picks ahead of McCarthy last year, had one of his least effective games this season while going 16 for 32 for 193 yards and scrambling four times for 26 yards.

Cincinnati Bengals 12-34 Pittsburgh Steelers

Mason Rudolph guided a pair of long second-half scoring drives after taking over for the injured Aaron Rodgers as the Pittsburgh Steelers surged past the Cincinnati Bengals in a 34-12 win.

Rodgers, the NFL’s oldest active player at 41, injured his left hand during a Pittsburgh drive late in the first half. While the Steelers (6-4) initially listed Rodgers’ status as ‘questionable’, he did not return to the sideline for the second half.

Enter Rudolph, who would complete 12 of 16 throws for 127 yards, including a five-yard touchdown pass to running back Kenneth Gainwell with three minutes 40 remaining that sealed it.

Pittsburgh’s defense, which was shredded by Joe Flacco and the Bengals (3-7) only a month ago, added two touchdowns of its own. ]

Safety Kyle Dugger returned a Flacco pass 74 yards for a game-turning pick-six in the third quarter, while cornerback James Pierre added a 32-yard scoop-and-score late in the fourth.

Ja’Marr Chase, who set a franchise record with 16 receptions in Cincinnati’s first meeting with Pittsburgh, was held to three catches for 30 yards in the rematch.

Carolina Panthers 30-27 Atlanta Falcons (OT)

Bryce Young passed for a career-high and franchise-record 448 yards and Ryan Fitzgerald kicked a 28-yard field goal in overtime to guide the Carolina Panthers to a 30-27 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

Young’s 54-yard pass to Tommy Tremble set up the winning kick for Carolina (6-5), which completed its sweep over NFC South rivals Atlanta (3-7), who suffered their fifth-straight loss – including back-to-back overtime defeats.

Young completed 31 of 45 passes,with three touchdowns, including the go-ahead 12-yard touchdown pass to Tetairoa McMillan with just over a minute remaining to give Carolina a 27-24 lead, before Zane Gonzalez kicked a 45-yard field goal for Atlanta with to force overtime.

Bijan Robinson ran for 104 yards and two touchdowns, but the Falcons couldn’t overcome the loss of quarterback Michael Penix Jr to a knee injury in the third quarter, with veteran backup Kirk Cousins unable to move the offense in overtime.

Los Angeles Chargers 6-35 Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars bounced back from their worst collapse in franchise history by thumping the Los Angeles Chargers 35-6 behind rushing touchdowns from Travis Etienne, Trevor Lawrence and rookie Bhaysul Tuten.

Coming off a 36-29 debacle at the Houston Texans last week, during which they blew a 19-point lead in the fourth quarter, the Jaguars (6-4) showed no lingering effects from the crushing setback against a division rival.

It might have helped that they faced the Chargers (7-4), who traveled across the country for an early start while potentially looking ahead to their bye.

Coach Jim Harbaugh’s team was a complete no-show, finishing with 135 yards and just eight first downs in the contest.

Green Bay Packers 27-20 New York Giants

Jordan Love returned from a shoulder injury to throw two touchdown passes, while backup Malik Willis had one of his own as the Green Bay Packers broke their two-game losing streak with a 27-20 win against a spirited New York Giants side.

Love, who had left the game briefly with hurt left shoulder, provided some heroics on the go-ahead drive in the fourth quarter, connecting with Christian Watson in the end zone for his second score with four minutes left.

The victory came at a cost for the Packers (6-3-1), though, with starting running back Josh Jacobs exiting early in the second quarter with a knee injury.

Even without him, the Green Bay took advantage early of an opposing run defense that ranks 31 out of the NFL’s 32 teams. They had 106 of their 128 rushing yards before half-time, including a Savion Wilson TD that ended the drive Willis led while Love was sidelined.

With Jameis Winston making his first start in 11 months and Mike Kafka debuting as interim coach after the firing of Brian Daboll, the Giants (2-9) lost their fifth game in a row.

Winston finished 19 of 29 for 201 yards, with a quarterback-sneak touchdown, an interception and game-ending fumble. Devin Singletary, meanwhile, rushed for two TDs.

Houston Texans 16-13 Tennessee Titans

Matthew Wright kicked a 35-yard field goal as time expired to see the Houston Texans beat AFC South rivals Tennessee Titans 16-13.

Led by backup quarterback Davis Mills, the Texans (5-5) reached .500 for the first time this season with their third win in four games. They also won their fifth-straight over the Titans in Nashville, despite playing without CJ Stroud.

In a game pitting the NFL’s worst offense in Tennessee against the league’s stingiest defense in both yards and points, Titans rookie QB Cam Ward drove the Titans 95 yards and threw a four-yard touchdown pass to Van Jefferson with 1.35 left in the game.

But Mills easily moved the Texans into position to end it within the time remaining, the Titans dropping to 1-9 as a result.

The Miami Dolphins beat the Washington Commanders 16-13 in overtime to mark Spain’s historic NFL debut in Madrid on Sunday.

Commanders (4-8) quarterback Marcus Mariota was intercepted by Jack Jones on the first play of overtime as his mistake paved the way for Riley Patterson’s game-winning 29-yard field goal.

Ollie Gordon, whose touchdown had pulled Miami level at 13-13 in the fourth quarter, was denied a potential-game-clinching moment in regulation when he was stuffed on fourth-and-goal from the one.

Washington wasted their resulting opportunity moments later when Matt Gay missed a 56-yard field goal with 15 seconds left to send the game to overtime, where Miami (3-7) would ultimatealy triumph to close out the 2025 NFL season’s record seventh international game.
