Infinity Trust mortgage bank confirms MD’s appointment

Council of Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank PIc has announced the confirmation of the appointment of Sunday Olumorin as managing director.

The confirmation, announced on Friday, eight months after the appointment on June 15, 2022.

In a disclosure published on the Nigerian Exchange Limited, the bank said Mr. Olumorin replaced its former managing director, Olabanjo Obaleye.

The appointment is in line with the succession plan of the bank and confirmed by the CBN on June 15, 2022, he added.

Prior to his appointment, Mr Olumorin was the bank’s executive director. Having held various senior executive roles at the bank, the disclosure said he gained over 20 years of experience working in all areas of mortgage, finance, investment, consultancy and real estate in Nigeria.

“Mr. Olumorin has led many strategic departments and units in the bank including business development; financial control, audit and Internal control, operations and information technology which has helped propel the bank to become one of the leading primary mortgage banks in Nigeria,” said the bank.

“The managing director holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Accounting from the University of Lagos and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ilorin.

“He has also participated in several international seminars and workshops on mortgage financing in England and the United States, including the Wharton School, the University of Pennsylvania, and the MBAN DEVPAR Housing Finance Program in Canada.”

MD is also an alumnus of Lagos Business School, the bank said.
