Dreams FC boss Karim Zito is proud of his coaching career
Former Ghana star Karim Zito has expressed his pride in his long and successful coaching career.
With all three licenses approved by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), including the C, B, and A licenses, Zito has led many clubs to success.
Zito’s coaching ability has helped bring several clubs into the Ghanaian Premier League, including Feyenoord Academy. He also had stints with Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, King Faisal, and BA Stars.
Zito led Ghana’s Black Satellites to victory in the WAFU Championship and the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, an achievement he is highly regarded for.
“I have about five players who have passed me, so I like the knowledge that God has given me. For more than 10 years, any time the Black Stars line up, there are players I have coached there. When looking at the 2022 World Cup , I have Barnieh, Danlad, Salisu, Fatawu, and Baba Rahman. Barnieh still talks to me,” said Zito in an interview with 3Sports.
Currently the coach of Dreams FC and the Ghana U17 team, Zito recently led Dreams FC to a 2-0 win over title contenders Kotoko in the league.
