
In a self-recorded video that appeared online, the Kumawood star said he would go to hell if he died for supporting the NPA government led by Nana Addo in the 2020 presidential election.
The actor believes that the government led by Nana Addo has not been able to meet his expectations.
“When I die, I will go to hell. When I die, I will burn in hell fire forever! If there really is a place called Heaven that we will go to after death, I will miss it.” Big Akwes revealed.
Explaining his reasons, he boldly commented on the poor performance of the current government.
“The reason is simple, I campaigned for Nana Akufo-Addo, and he has let me down,” said in Twi
The actor was among the many celebrities who campaigned for the NPP in the last general election that witnessed Nana Addo’s second term as president of Ghana.
Ghana is currently facing a debt crisis, high inflation, and devaluation of the local currency, the cedi. This limits the government’s room for maneuver. In December 2022, Ghana agreed with the International Monetary Fund, which should lead to a support program.
