VIDEO: Fatawu Issahaku’s stunning strike steals the show in Leicester City’s victory
Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku announced his return to the Black Stars squad with a spectacular goal for Leicester City in their 3-1 win over Swansea.
The 21-year-old, recently recalled for Ghana’s crucial World Cup qualifiers, broke the deadlock with a thunderous strike from the edge of the box in the 77th minute.
With the game tied 1-1, Issahaku took control and unleashed a powerful shot that flew into the net, restoring Leicester’s lead in stunning fashion.
He nearly scored a second moments later when another powerful attempt rattled the crossbar. The goal was his third of the season and helped Leicester end a four-game winless run.
The performance was a timely reminder of his quality as he recovers from a long-term injury. Issahaku will now join the Ghana national team for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic and Comoros.
